Staff were very pleasant, friendly and exceptionally helpful. The decor in the room was beautiful and it was very clean with plenty of tea making facilities including ‘proper’ mugs and a teapot with tea cosy which was a lovely extra. However the room was very, very small and it did not have any drawers or wardrobe to store clothes (there was a small rail in the corner with four hangers to hang a few items). The en-suite was also very small but it was supplied with lovely White Company toiletries.
The cooked breakfast was beautiful and piping hot. There were also lots of other hot food options as well as cereals, yoghurts, breads.
All in all a lovely place to stay, with fantastic staff and when I return I will ask for a larger room.

Really nice room in a very nice pub in a lovely village. We really enjoyed our stay.
