Great little last minute trip on a hot day and thoroughly enjoyed it and the hotel was clean and welcoming, especially the Scottish lady on reception who was such a lovely welcoming person.

Good location and warm reception staff (thank you, Jackie). Single is a little small, bathroom included, but functional for a short stay. Floors could benefit from repair - they sag and creak - though not easy, I realize. Deposits not rare these days, but it would be far more efficient to require guests to pay for food and/or drinks when services are rendered, rather than making everyone go through extra steps on check in and check out and risking good will. Internet sign in also unnecessarily cumbersome.
