My 2nd time at Nobu Shoreditch and 5th at a general Nobu hotel.
I typical identify Nobu as a hotel with high standards, but this has been the poorest experience.
From items not working at the room, lack of cleaning and poor service in the breakfast section. It should be mentioned that reception pro-actively supported and sorted the issues in the room, but should things should be checked and sorted before guests arrive.

Paid extra for a ‘city view’ room only to be facing directly out onto a brick building. Rooms are very small.

Easy check in, quiet hotel in an up and coming part of town. Celebrating a friends 40th birthday and they made it special! Drinks are expensive but it’s London - they tasted great.. bar was nice!

Nice quiet location.
Lot of restaurants nearby.

We booked our stay to celebrate Valentine’s Day, the customer service was amazing and especially Sharm Tark. He went out of his way to make our stay memorable.

Such a disappointing experience. While the premises are gorgeous, the tiny room (a city view sixth floor room), it’s bad design (narrow with different rooms for a wardrobe/hallway and tiny bathroom), 11pm cut off for room service (I have NEVER experienced this in a 5* hotel), terrible lighting, tinted bathroom mirror - all made for a pretty average stay. The bed was large and comfortable, however. No English tea-making facility in the room and the cheap little mini-fridge - the sort you pickup for £40 from Amazon - was noisy and an aircon outlet dripped on to my partner’s side of the bed constantly. We couldn’t wait to get out of there and back to Euston station - and that’s saying something!
The much lauded city view is probably the worst aspect on the city with none of the most famous landmarks and skyscrapers visible from our room (616).

Very modern hotel with exceptional service.

Wasn’t impressed. Hotel riding on its name. Very disappointing stay. Steam room didn’t work. Staff weren’t overly helpful. Certainly not a five star hotel. Struggle for it to be a 4 star. Felt like a complete waste of time and money. Would not stay or recommend.

Well overpiced per night and no breakfast. No in room facility to make tea or coffee. Discraceful £1 25 charge to bring coffee from counter to table 6 ' away

Great spot and great area. The staff at the hotel were really great and always kind, helpful and responsive to anything we needed. And there are great restaurants, coffee shops and the Sunday flower market all within walking distance!

Nobu hotel has a nice-ish room.
The amenities were o k. The building was beautiful. The linen was not the best quality. The toilet seat was askew, the seams between the stone tile work were a bit grimey. Heating on cold night was difficult. You may want to bring a space heater when it is below 3 degrees Celsius. Build quality of the fittings was lacking (chipped lacquer work, worn knurling, etc). I think they may want to remind us that were were in their cheapest room.
Front of house was more miss than hit. Filling out addresses and asking for consent for a deposit again is not smooth. They could have just put a holding charge on the card at check in and taken our consent for that earlier (it was only 100 GBP).
Just another London hotel with more potential than actual value.

The property is beautifully designed and has a great location. There are parking options a short walk away, alongside walkable distances to train stations.

Lovely hotel
Amazingly comfy bed - didn't want to leave it !
Dinner was everything they promised it would be
Breakfast was not worth getting up for in terms of quality and ridiculously priced.

The hotel is clean and in a nice part of London. Many restaurants and pubs close by and 5 minutes from the tube. The front desk staff is courteous but is lacking a true concierge. When we asked for help with a 10-person reservation the desk staff kept referring us to tiny restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
Our room was clean and well decorated. The shower didn’t have a door or curtain so bathroom floor got we’re everytime we used it. The light “knobs” were funky. Not enough drawers to put away our clothes.
The lobby and cafe were almost always dead. No guests milling about or hanging out. A very quiet hotel and underwhelming given the Nobu name.

Laundry service as a complete mess. Rude and aggressive housekeeping. A complete joke of a hotel.

I stay at Nobu shoreditch every year and it’s one of my favorite places to stay in London. Wonderful each time! Having room service from the downstairs Nobu restaurant is DIVINE.

the staff was the star of this property! Chris was very helpful providing us with recommendations on dining which we choose Hawkmoor and Manteca. Excellent choices.
we definitely be back to stay here again!

Beautiful property - modern and sleek. Unfortunately there was a building-wide issue with the hot water on the first night of our stay, which took until 2 am to resolve. Not what I expected from a 5-star property. The staff were helpful in trying to resolve it and make it right afterwards, but could have been more proactive.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Hotel and the rooms are incredibly tasteful and comfortable. What stands out here though is the service. As soon as we checked, Lino, the front office manager, treated us like family and went above and beyond to make our stay as memorable as possible. He is a true credit to the Nobu. Thank you so much. We can’t to return.

The hotel overall is excellent, modern nice and clean. It is about 15 mins in bike from the touristic area.

The rooms are very dark and cramped. Service was up and down. Lino front desk manager was nice, but others were a bit rough. Overall nothing special, which a name like Nobu should be.

We had a lovely stay and loved the design details in the room. The staff were helpful. We didn’t like the carpet (wood floors would be nicer) in the room. The zen suite room was very small. The cafe was not appealing and was not really open. Room service menu and hours were limited.

A very trendy morden Japanese hotel. My room was upgraded to a suite with an excellent balcony. The service is excellent with very friendly staff. Room service will prepare your bed before you come back from dinner. They even have staff who can speak Cantonese.
The neighborhood is a very cool place with lots of graffiti & co-office.

I stayed at this hotel for a short work trip and booked a suite which was not a cheap accomodation- I'm happy to pay for 5-star experiences but very much felt like I was staying at a hilton or budget hotel at many points in my stay- here are a few issues I had:
- I had my assistant call ahead and email letting the staff know that I was arriving early and he was assured that there were accomodations being made for me. When I arrived my room was not ready and no accomodations had been made. The staff and management were not helpful in presenting solutions and I had to propose to go to the spa until my room was ready. Not a great start.
- The rooms are dark and difficult to navigate. The lighting fixtures are dated and its difficult to see around the room even when lights are turned up the full way. Lights flicker and dim randomly. Again, not very luxury.
- Elevators also didn't work half of the time-- I was kept waiting and missed several ubers.
- The hotel is also in a "Low emission zone" not pre-advertized to guests so people like me coming in for work have a difficult time getting in and out of the property without walking 5-7 blocks away to get a car.
- The main attraction of the hotel- the restaurants- were the biggest dissapointment. While all of the food that I ate was amazing, the scheduling of restaurants opening and closing is sporadic and the staff and management are not up to date on what is happening. I have a lot more to say but have run out of words.

A serene space. Hallways are dark and moody, but staff are not. In a hipster area of interesting restaurants, art galleries and shops. About a 5 min walk to Old Town tube station. Nobu restaurant provides room service to hotel guests. The Blues Kitchen has nightly live music and a very funky interior, and is within a 5 min walk.

Staff are excellent
