About this villa rental
Secured gated New Mexico Casita, with private patios and tons of free parking, views of the lights of Albuquerque, plus non active volcanoes and the Sandia Mountains. Hot air balloons launch on most mornings around the house. Enjoy sunsets, wildlife like; barn owls, quail, vultures, Cooper Hawks, roadrunners and the sounds of coyotes moving thought the desert on a nightly prowl. During the sunsets you will see Great Horned owls swooping down to get their nightly snacks while thought-out the day you will see, Red-Tailed Hawks, large Crows, and Turkey Vultures fly over daily. We have just added a private blocked in back patio and out-door kitchen facing west, to enjoy our fantastic high desert sunsets - Natures best.

Mike and Bernie were very hospitable and helpful. They showed us around the casita upon arrival and all its ins and outs. They had information on local places to eat and sights and other things to do. They kept us informed of all that we needed to know. The casita was immaculate and very comfortable. There was plenty of room for the two of us and everything imaginable was provided. They were so thoughtful that there was a Keurig coffee maker and a regular drip one as well, so we had the best of both worlds! We could have done all our own cooking had we been so inclined. The property was close to the city but also rural enough to satisfy those who need the sense of space. The views are magnificent, which made watching the sun set perfect. Albuquerque’s famous hot air balloons were visible most mornings, floating by or landing nearby. We have relatives in the area and will be returning in the future. We will always look to book this casita again and again.Thanks for a great stay!

What a wonderful stay! We loved the seclusion of the back patio with an evening view at the edge of town no less. Nice and homey and relaxing and private. Perfect for this set of grandparents. Great kitchen, and a movie library like no other! Mike and Bernie were so delightful and helpful and responsive. What a Gem!

The property owners had great communication but also gave us privacy. There were plenty of clean linens and towels. Kitchen was clean and provided everything we needed to cook meals- grill on the back patio was a huge bonus. On Saturday morning we saw hot air balloons while sitting out back. Overall fun and enjoyable experience!
