What a unique property! It had plenty of space on a pretty street but was still just a few blocks from restaurants, historic sites, and more. It's not every day that you get the chance to stay in a home built in the 1740's. We loved it. The host was responsive, helpful, and had so many little touches that made the trip easy and more like home - shampoo, lotion, tea, decent selection of spices/cooking basics, plenty of linens, plenty of dishes, paper towels..... She even left coffee for us! It was great. The house has all you need but doesn't feel cluttered or crowded at all. Highly recommend. Two thing to note (but NOT dealbreakers!): the stairs are very steep and you need solid footing to use them. It wasn't a problem for us, though. The living room is a nice place to have a cup of coffee or chat for a few minutes. The seating isn't the comfiest so I wouldn't hang out there for a very long time.

Very cute place in the Old City section of town. Close to lots of attractions. I had meetings at the Convention Center during our stay, and it was easy to get there via the subway a couple blocks over or just by walking about 20 minutes. Stairs in the unit are very narrow, curvy and steep, so beware if you are mobility-challenged. My teenagers and I enjoyed the walkable neighborhood.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. For a family and friends, who wanted to see the historic aspects of downtown Philadelphia this was a great addition. We had a historic place to stay in, as well as to see everything else around old city. I would highly recommend this property.

The house was so old and unique and made you feel like walking back in time. The older locks, wooden floors and unique staircase were all amazing. Everything was clean and well decorated. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook a meal in if you wanted. If you wanted to go out, there were so many things to see and do within an easy 15 min walk. Wonderful place. I would highly recommend and I hope to be back myself.
