Our stay at this lovely, extremely cozy, and, pet friendly was perfect. The home is just as seen in the pictures. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious. The view is so nice. Everything was easy to access. The owners are so communicative answering questions quickly for suggestions such as take out/delivery options.

Epping Forest is a peaceful oasis from which to explore Annapolis, DC, and Baltimore. This cottage was good for our family of 4 and our adult son was thrilled to have his own level downstairs, complete with its own bathroom. The staircase is exactly as described - be advised if you have little ones or anyone with mobility issues. Beds are very comfortable and the neighborhood so quiet we could sleep with the windows cracked open. Beautiful outdoor spaces to include a screened porch, back deck, and front patio, plus path down to the dock. My kids loved the hot tub - a fun added bonus. Communicating with the host was very easy.

We spent a wonderful 3+ days at this cottage near the Severn. Great little neighborhood near Annapolis, close but secluded. Isaac and family were wonderful hosts!

Great host and great property. We had our two boys and my wifes parents with us, six in total. Though the property was small, we felt there was always plenty of room to accommodate everyone. We would recommend and would definately stay again.

We loved this little home. It was a perfect spot for us while our family was in town for a wedding. It was conveniently located, we easily got in and out of town without having to fight traffic. The home was perfectly clean upon arrival, and didn't require anything upon checkout, which was such a relief when traveling with children. The host was easy to connect with on a couple minor questions, and the property was just what we needed. We made use of the hot tub and spent mornings walking down to the water. We would definitely return if ever there was an opportunity. Highly recommend!

Adorable house with a great view and location near Annapolis. We really enjoyed being able to spend the day in Annapolis but then retreat to this more private location. The hot tub was a huge plus. There is ample parking. The main living area was beautifully decorated and looked like the pictures. A few suggestions for the hosts - the kitchen, while beautiful, needed better dishes and glasses. Everything was plastic/melamine. I think at the price point and quality of the house, real dishes and glasses would be a big improvement. I will note that when we requested real wine glasses, the host was very responsive and delivered some immediately. I totally understand that you might want to have plastic beverage cups and plates because of the hot tub and outdoor area, but perhaps just provide both and ask people to use the glass and ceramic plates inside. The only other thing I would note is that one of the bedrooms listed is in a walk out basement. It gets a lot of light and has a nice view, however, it is extremely difficult to access and is down the smallest spiral staircase I have ever been on. One could not take a suitcase down the staircase, you had to go outside and go around. Because the staircase is so narrow, renters should be advised that the property is not suitable for people with any disability or older folks. In addition, that third bedroom was advertised as having twin beds, but it is actually a trundle. The person in the main bed would need to step over the other person to exit the bed which is awkward. I think this should be clarified in the listing. All of that said, we did really enjoy our stay and found the host to be very nice and responsive. These are just suggestions to improve the experience.

Four of us booked this little house on a hill with a gorgeous view for our March getaway. The place was extremely clean and cozy. We loved the views, the decor inside the house, the care they took in putting the beds together with so many pillows, the welcome book, and all the little thoughtful things I am sure took place in getting this location ready. The weekend was a pretty cruddy weekend weather wise but being able to use the hot tub was a great treat. The host has blankets in the living room which are super nice for colder days. The things that we wish we had known before we went were the fact that the description of the listing is incorrect in terms of beds. It has a queen bed, a double bed, a day bed with a trundle and a sofa bed in a room that is separately accessed from the rest of the house. The listing citing two separate twin beds is one of the reasons we chose it and that was not the case. Being four adult women splitting the cost of a rental we try to never put anyone on the floor or on a sofa bed. We made it work though and it didn’t stop us from having a good time. The other thing we wish we had known is how narrow and tight the spiral stairs to get to the downstairs room were. They were quite challenging for all of us to get through and one of us is a cross fit trainer!! Overall the house is a small cottage in a great location. I recommend it for a quiet getaway.
