Hike or mountain bike right from your front door and explore the nearby rainforest jeep trails. Enjoy morning coffee on the private deck while toucans sing, and be sure to watch for monkeys and iguanas above your private stream. Start the day with a swim in your private pool or take a short drive to visit the magnificent waterfalls and clear cool freshwater swimming holes surrounded by tropical trees. The entire pool-facing wall opens up onto the pool deck, creating a true indoor/outdoor feeling. The bright, brand-new interior features high ceilings, tons of natural light, and a spacious common area, perfect for gathering with friends and family. The chef will love the sleek, modern kitchen, with stainless steel appliances and plenty of counter space, and there’s room for everyone at mealtime between the kitchen island barstools and deck-front dining table. When it’s time to explore, you’ll only be a half mile from Playa Hermosa, where free shaded parking and beginner surf lessons can be found. From there, it's a short hike or drive to the world-famous Whales Tale beach of Uvita. Other beaches include Playa Arco, Pinuela, Playa Ventana, Dominicalito, Dominical, Coconut groove, Matapalo, and Chaman. Most of the beaches offer year-round surfing and relaxation beaches, with very few visitors. Playa Dominical is world-class surfing and has regular surf competitions, and many beaches are safe for swimming and even have lifeguards. Wildlife is abundant in this quiet valley. We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely house in the playa Hermosa area (close to uvita). Everything was perfect except an issue with the lockbox which was quickly resolved!

Loved all the great padded, comfortable places to relax and enjoy the toucans, parrots, tanagers, etc. visiting the back yard pool area. Loved the 84-degree pool! Wonderful kitchen with plenty of space for 3 or 4 cooks working at once. Spotlessly clean. There is a large screen TV which we never used. Individual A/C in each bedroom and the large "common" room. But we loved turning off the A/C at night an opening the place up to the natural sounds and temperatures. One hour from Manuel Antonio, (a VERY disappointing place -- WAY too crowded) Excellent beaches are just minutes away. Six of us seniors would definitely stay again.
