About this house rental

Situated in Bahía Ballena, this attractive house for $162 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Come stay now during prime whale season! This is a 2500 square foot home nestled at 800 feet in the hills above Ojochal at the perfect elevation for cooling breezes (no AC necessary!) and white water ocean views. As you enter this stunning property you are immediately impressed by the abundance of gardens lining the full property -- explosions of color and scent will delight all your senses! A serpentine paved driveway winds past the security gate and ascends to two levels, with the upper level featuring access right from your car to the 3 en suite bedrooms. Or park on the lower level for access to the lovely outdoor and indoor living spaces. Once you walk into this property, the vistas will take your breath away, to the Ballena whale's tail and all the way beyond to Manuel Antonio an hour's drive away -- this is what Pura Vida dreams are made of. Behind you the majestic mountains bring mists and rainbows, and stunning bird life like parrots, toucans and macaws! Naturally, Howler, Capuchin and ChiChi monkeys are always around. This 3 bedroom plus 3.5 bath is a rare find in today's market, and an entertainer's dream! The infinity pool is just the right size to do laps or simply sit under the waterfall for a relaxing shoulder massage, and there is a separate jacuzzi where you can enjoy your beverages. There is plenty of covered outdoor space, and it's expertly laid out with solid teak furniture and fans above, along with a gas barbecue. And there is a delightful heated outdoor shower for hosing off after a day at the beach. As you enter the home's lower level you will find a chefs kitchen complete with beautiful granite counter tops, new fridge, dishwasher, filtered water system, and acres of prep space. Next to the kitchen is a secure storage area ("bodega") complete with owners lock up. The large family+living room is a bonus for those days you want to curl up and watch a good movie. Internet and streaming TV are served by high speed fiber. The large half bath is perfectly situated between the indoor and outdoor living areas. Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms along with private patios.... every guest will feel right at home. The large master bedroom has a double vanity and space for your own reading nook or sitting area! There is also a full laundry center. Located in upper Ojochal, its location is about 12 minutes by graded road from the Costanera highway. Ojochal is known for top restaurants and entertainment, and nearby Uvita is the shopping hub in the area. The many activities you or your guests can enjoy include surfing and SUPing, zip-lining, golf, horseback riding, waterfalls, kayaking, atv tours, bird and whale watching - to name just a few! This easy access but secluded property is in high demand, and is only available for long-term (one week minimum, rates negotiable) rental. It was owner-occupied since its construction in 2010 until now, and has never been rented before. We just purchased it and are renting very selectively due to a need to stay in the US a few months into 2022. The graded dirt road leading to our Phase 8 neighborhood is well maintained, but our driveway is pretty steep. So a 4WD vehicle is desirable for exploration. There are car rental car agencies in Uvita nearby.

Secluded, never felt the need for a bathing suit. Though there was construction in the area. AWD/4WD a must. Host was awesome. Had issues at the meetup place but my fault. Pictures speak for themselves. v/r Dan

Will is just a great host, he was super friendly, answered all our questions really fast and was really helpful. Also his property manager Julia was very friendly and very helfpul. The house is just amazing and really well equipped. The view is spectacular, the pool and the porch are really great. The house was very clean and the location is unique. Thank you Will and Julia, we had a wonderful time there and we felt like home. Looking forward to book it again ;-) We just can recommend a booking!!!
