The Peel Aldergate

The staff sent me a little video to explain where the location of the lock boxes were as we were arriving late outside normal hours. The cottage was fully equipped with everything we could need for our stay, full kitchen, comfortable sitting room and plenty of space. Ideal for a family break, we had a double and twin rooms. Bathroom looked to have been recently renovated and spotless too. We met and chatted with the owners the following day in the cafe/restaurant. They were all so friendly and helpful. We had drinks and lunch on the afternoon with our friends and family, there was a big group of us, the weather was good and we were able to enjoy the outside seating area. They even brought out water for the dog. We had breakfast in the cafe on our last day, it was lovely, just right size portions.

A great welcome, good location, nice sized room, really clean and a comfy bed.

All the staff I encountered were lovely - friendly, helpful and accommodating. Food was also very good.

We love the location. We love how clean and homely it is. Parking is easy. Walking distance to everything.
