Located in Greenbank, this attractive house for $425 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. A serene waterfront setting for this beautiful Whidbey Island home is a relaxing retreat looking out over Saratoga Passage. Enjoy the extensive waterfront view from inside the home or step out on the large deck overlooking the beach to sip coffee while watching the birds, seals and the whales frolic in the horizon. Currently, there is no direct beach access. The beach is reached at the community park, a short walk to the end of the road in the neighborhood. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or a small get together with family and friends this is your perfect place. This house is light and bright, if you require a darkened room to sleep, this is not the house for you. This house is not recommended for toddlers or young children. There is a security camera on the back deck activated by movement which is currently not monitored but we are required to let guests know of the camera. We will be available by text of phone during your stay. Please contact the property manager with any questions. This Greenbank home is the perfect location to explore Whidbey Island. Guests are within easy driving distance to the following: Coupeville Langley Greenbank Farm Deception Pass Fort Casey State Park Ebey's Landing and the Bluff Trail Guest will have private access to the beach house. Guest will enter the house via a smart lock system using a pin to bye sent prior to your arrival via email from [email protected]. Guests are free to check in anytime after the 4:00pm check in time. The house is two levels with the family room, kitchen, 2nd bedroom and bathroom on the main level. The primary bedroom bathroom and studio are on the second level. The studio is spacious with 3 twin beds. A car is necessary for this property. Although there is bus service on the main highway, you will want to explore the island with your vehicle.

My spouse and I reunited at the Hideaway and completely enjoyed ourselves. The place is cozy, the view is amazing (we saw orcas in the Saratoga passage!) and we felt welcome and at ease. Highly recommend!

As we walked through the front door we knew we were in the right place for us: it was sparkling inside and out with lots of room to stretch out and relax. Sunlight flickered off the water. Out on the deck we caught the last rays as we relaxed watching the gulls, herons and an occasional seal peeking its head up. The kitchen was equipped with anything one could want and we cooked all of our own meals. Of course we got the requisite pie at Greenbank Farms (the marionberry berry is our favorite) and had pastries from Dolce Bakery and Cafe nearby (thanks to host Lucy whose recommendations were spot on!) Whidbey offers a myriad of activities all within an easy drive of Hidden Beach. The Price Sculpture Garden near Coupeville was a hidden treasure and not to be missed (another of Lucy’s tips) and we did long hikes at both Ebey’s Landing and Deception Pass. We brought friends from Tennessee and it was a trip they will never forget. We felt very, very lucky to have found this gem. Thank you, Lucy.

Very nice and spacious house. We had a great time. Only negatives were the windows, hard to open, some seemed painted shut. Need to watch yourself on the deck if you are an older person. We would stay here again for sure.

This is the eighth house we have rented on Whidbey Island and is the best. The location is great and the views cannot be beat. The house is well stocked and the kitchen even has sharp knives, unheard of for a rental! We would definitely rent this house again.

The house is beautiful, spacious, and well stocked with amenities. The serene, beach front location couldn't be better. We enjoyed dinners each evening on the deck - as the sun went down, the water and sky picked up the reflection of the sunset. We hope to return again and again.

When we booked the property 1 1/2 months ago we thought we found a beach property with access off a lovely back deck. The photos of the property showed a ramp, with minimal stair’s , leading off the back deck area to the beach. Well, the railing and uprights are leaning over, there is yellow caution tape along the falling over and loose rail. We were not notified of the new back deck problems ,and they had plenty of time to notify us. The deck was not a comfortable place to hang out let alone relax. The house is very nice: bedrooms,kitchen and baths are all lovely and well stocked and clean.

We had a great time! Home was nicely appointed and comfortable. Beautiful views, quiet. No access to the beach from the property, but it is only a few min walk either direction to the beach. Careful at low tide, the sand is very soft and you sink easily when far from the beach. If you walk closer to the rocks it’s just fine.

an excellent property that was very clean and well-appointed. Everything you need is there. Every kitchen gadget, games, books, etc. Nice quiet and secluded location. The view is amazing. I had a few communication issues with the owner (no access info 24 hours before arrival), but we got it figured out. The only drawback here is the beach. It is not one you can play or walk on. You can certainly walk the edge, on the rocks, but the sand is a type of "muck" - a quicksand-like material where you will very quickly sink up to your knees (or deeper) after a few steps in. No warning about this on VRBO. After you lose a shoe or two, and look like a fool trying to get out of the muck, you will understand why no one else is "on the beach". This is a great place and we did enjoy the stay very much. My 9-year-old grandson was just disappointed he could not play in the water at the beach when it was so beautiful and so close by. I still give it 5 stars,

We had an enjoyable stay at this property. Everything is as shown on the listing. The beds were comfortable as well as the other furnishings. The kitchen is small, but well appointed with anything you would need. The home was recently remodeled, which was done nicely. Communication with the property manager was also good. The views were awesome, we saw seals right outside and other wildlife. We would definitely stay here again.

The house is are amazingly beautiful! Modern, full of light, very comfortable and with mesmerizing views from almost every room. Kitchen is very well equipped and has everything you need, even more. Super comfortable beds. Bathroom ....I’ll never forget it’s beauty. Communication with owner was great! We asked for additional night, and very fast got a positive response. Thank you for our unforgettable stay. I’m sure will come back again!

We were looking for a quiet getaway for a week where I could work remotely (with a view) and my wife could relax away from home. This was a perfect fit. Right on the water, we got fabulous sunrises and sunsets along with the perfect water soundtrack. The family room, kitchen, master bath, and master bedroom all shared spectacularly views of the water. The private, gated entry to the small neighborhood made for absolute peace and serenity.For a bonus, we were treated to gray whales feeding within 50 feet of our windows one morning. Amazing!
