Its a great place to stay and explore Crestone and the San Luis Valley or enjoy a resting getaway. This upstairs suite features a living area with kitchenette and door opening to the outdoor deck. Adjoining is a queen sized bedroom with small work station for working remotely during your stay. This suite has a full bathroom stocked with comfy towels and eco amenities for your stay. The suite is a great space for quiet retreats featuring a kitchenette stocked with dishware and bakeware for your extended stay. The kitchenette features a small fridge, microwave and hotplate for cooking.  There is a drip coffee maker and hot water boiler for making coffee and teas to enjoy on the relaxing outdoor deck or on the couch with loved ones.  The outdoor areas are relaxing and peaceful for your mountain getaway. The backyard shared area has a table with umbrella and BBQ grill for evening enjoyment. The small deck has a small bistro seating area for guests to enjoy as well. The house is equipped with a washer and dryer unit that is shared for both suites to use during their stay. This space is well suited for individuals or couples as a private suite. The downstairs suite can also be rented out and joined as one house for groups or families. There are many local hiking trails nearby the house, some folks suggest the North Crestone Trailhead, Willow lake is a great day hike, and the Creekside trails along the greenbelts in the Baca Grande Subdivision are spectacular and lush. The Challenger Views on Ridgecrest is a great place for outdoor enthusiasts and folks looking for a peaceful mountain getaway. Crestone Colorado is in the middle of the San Luis Valley. There is very limited public transportation in the area. We recommend Four Wheel Drive, or at least- All Wheel Drive if you are looking to come and stay during the Winter Season. *WE ARE OPEN* In effort to keep our guests safe; we are following all recommended guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting each suite. Wildlife and Outdoor Recreation Crestone is situated at the base of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, boasting several fourteen thousand foot peaks and pristine alpine lakes for outdoor hiking, camping and fishing.
