Located in Hill City, this attractive house for $261 per night is a great option for your next trip. Location, location, location. Hill City is located in the center of the Black Hills and this house is within walking distance of the best parts of Hill City. 40 feet to the world famous Mickelson Trail, 1/2 a block to the 1880s steam train, and 3 blocks to the best restaurant in South Dakota. This home is not too big and not too small. Whether you are doing a couples get away, traveling with kids or your friends this home may be "just right" for you. A glass garage door next to the dining area looks out onto the covered porch and the world famous Mickelson Trail. A simple kitchen with fridge, stove dishwasher and microwave make meal preparation easy. The sleeping loft over looks the living room. Kids won't be ble to decide where to sleep, the loft or the bunk bed room?? (Please note: The sleeping loft, Bedroom #3, has a steep set of stairs for access and may not be suitable for all guests.) The main bath has a separate shower room and there is an additional half bath down the hall. The main bedroom has a small walk-in closet and a queen size bed. Laundry is available and guests have access to a garage. There is room to park 2 vehicles with private off street parking. For guests wondering about access for anyone elderly or with a physical limitation, the main level of the house has no stairs, only door thresholds that need to be stepped over to gain access to the main living space. The exception to this is the sleeping loft which has a steep set of stairs to access it. Please carefully consider whether or not you will be using this space and if the people using it will be able to safely use the stairs. You have access to the main level of the home. This is your private space. It includes 2 bedrooms, a full bath and a half bath, living room, dining area, kitchen, sleeping loft, laundry, garage and covered porch. There is a separate small apartment above the garage that the owners use 3 or 4 nights a month. Other things to note: Be on the lookout for the neighborhood deer. They are always around, day and night. They are still wild though, please don't feed them. We also (not often) have mountain lions that come by.

New property with a great lay out and room sizes. Beautiful location being centralized in the Black Hills and fun for the kids to see whitetail deer walking around the yard and neighborhood.

Great property! Great location! Absolutely everything we did/might have needed was supplied for us! Very clean and modern. We were within walking distance of downtown and all the sights were just short drives. Highly recommend this to anyone wanting to visit the Black Hills area!

Stayed in this VRBO with 2 friends from work for 4 nights. We each had our own bedroom (how ideal is that!). Modern, clean and in a great location. We loved everything about our stay! Plenty of towels, 1 full bath and one powder room. Laundry, dishwasher, AC, everything! Lovely backyard patio with nightly visits by young deer. Great communication with our host, Dan. Highly recommend Dan & Jessies place! And especially, I recommend using Hill City as a base for visiting the Black Hills

Property with beautiful view and central location in Hill City! Love the uniqueness of the glass garage door in the dining area. The property was spectacularly clean and very cozy. The morning sunshine was glorious. There were games and books for all ages. Sleeping in the loft area is challenging for anyone who needs darkness as the days are long in summer. The loft stairs are steep but also about 4 in deep. We went with young children and they did not like the train sounds throughout the daytime, the latest train around 7/7:30 at night. For older children the train going by often was fantastic to see so often. I would caution with children 2 and under due to concrete floors and open outlets. They did have a baby gate for the loft stairs. We loved the walking distance to everything including great coffee and trail. Overall a great property. The heating and cooling were a bit tricky overall.

Rental is very well appointed with good wifi, dishwasher, washer and dryer, propane grill, tv with streaming service and accessible hdmi if you want to attach a device. A nice deck and right on Mickelson trail. The only shortcoming was there are no dressers to unload your suitcase into.

Checkin was simple. The place was clean and decorated to feel like home. We liked the map where everyone who stays can pin where they are from!
