Downtown Hood River is at your fingertips and within minutes you can enjoy the array of eateries, coffee houses, boutique shops, wineries, and breweries. The waterfront is also within close range and offers something for everyone, whether you choose to spend the day windsurfing, kiting, stand up paddling, or enjoying the family friendly park and beach. The kitchen is well stocked with all the amenities needed to whip up something delicious. Enjoy the wonderful views as you dine in the dining nook. The deck can be accessed from the living room or the bedroom. This deck is perfect for taking in the view while you enjoy that morning cup of coffee or a cocktail in the evening. The bedroom is very roomy with a Queen bed along with a twin trundle bed that has a curtain that can be pulled around for privacy. The ensuite bathroom features a combo tub/shower. Loved this place, it was super comfy and enjoyable. Communication was quick and easy. Great location, everything is within walking distance. Place was very clean and we had no issues. Thanks for such an awesome stay!

My wife's words as soon as we walked in. I would also add CLEAN. Conveniently located like others have said. We walked everywhere, everyday. Coffee, brunch, dinner. I ate and had a few beers, a little wine here and there, and lost 2lbs when I weighed myself this Monday morning. Really, no lie!

This property has much of what you look for in a rental. We found the location, floor arrangement/size and general cleanliness to be very good. On the less positive side, consider us in the camp of reviewers that found the primary bed uncomfortable. For context, my spouse and I are on the smaller side of average in size and typically have no issues with queen sized beds. Unfortunately in this case, the mattress felt broken. It sinks sharply towards the middle making a sore few hours of rest the best we could get. Despite all of the other great features, the compounding effect the poor mattress comfort during our stay make this property a difficult one for us to personally recommend.

This one-bedroom apartment was a good place for us to stay to explore Hood River and the Columbia gorge. It's walking distance to the shops and restaurants in the town center, and a 5-minute drive to Waterfront Park (in one direction) and uptown shops and restaurants (in the other). Easy on/off I-84. There's a small view of the Columbia from the deck and the living room. Be warned that the apartment is on the east end of the building and so gets bright early morning sun - pull those curtains. Afternoon and evenings are less intense. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and reading; the apartment next door was occupied and using its deck, but we had good privacy.

This house was great! Simple, had everything we needed, spotlessly cleaned (except the jets in the jacuzzi tub which spit out all kinds of junk, but I think that just might be normal for jacuzzis). The location was perfect and fairly quiet. The checkin/check out process was easy. Our ONLY issue that more or less ruined our stay was the beds. I will give details as it was a huge issue for us, but may not be a big deal for someone else ☺️ Now, beds are very subjective. Everyone has a difference of opinion, so take this part with a grain of salt. Several qualifiers: we are both heavy-set, though not obece, and I have a back injury and chronic sciatica. For both my husband and I, all available beds in this house were pretty awful. The main bed was so incredibly soft, it sucked you down in, in a very non supportive way. I couldn't make it through the night on this one. The trundle bed top mattress was ok at best but after a while the springs started digging in to our backs. The lower mattress was a foam one, and was ok for the first half of the night, but eventually, we sank so far in that it lit up every pressure points. I do wonder if the mattresses were on solid platforms instead of just slats, would that make a difference? The last two nights we slept on the pull out couch, which ended up being the best option for us both. It still wasn't great, but we were able to get a little bit of rest. For us personally, the lack of sleep made the stay unpleasant. We are parents of very young kids and were looking forward to relaxing and getting some rest together. I do want to stress that everything else about this condo was perfect, and had we been able to sleep, it would have most certainly been a five star stay.

The condo was a simple, convenient place to stay in Hood River. Easy to walk to and around the downtown area, and close to the highway to adventure away for the day.

Really enjoyed our stay here. It was conveniently located; with just a short walk to downtown. Spacious and surprisingly quiet neighborhood, and an easy drive up to our cross country ski trails. Would stay here again!

Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Lovely breeze flowing through the rooms. Plenty of room for the two of us. Easy parking and easy access in and out of the space. Two bathrooms so we each could spread out. Close to town and hiking trips. Thank you so much. We really enjoyed our stay.
