Lovely, homely hotel just outside the town centre. Easy parking, lovely room and comfortable king bed. We booked the room with breakfast which was good value. Our room was on the second floor, which I didn’t see in the room description. The stairs are quite narrow on the tread, and steep, so if this is an issue check room location before confirming. Otherwise, an excellent place for a New Forest stay.

Really nice stay, staff very helpful and accomodating, we were on the top floor and the room was very warm but the whirlpool bath was an unexpected bonus. Only negative was people smoke just outside the restaurant and bar and with the windows open the smoke came im. A separate smoking area away from the hotel would be better.

The Hotel was very clean staff amazing,very good breakfast,I don't drive but lots of parking spaces.
We where minutes from the new forest with lots of tracks to walk, we saw lots of new forest pony's plus a couple of Donkys.
Close to public transport, so we visited Southampton in under 1 hour.
Live entertainment at the hotel and a great bar,we enjoyed the stay and we will definitely go again,oh yes bathroom had a huge swirl pool bath

The food was very good in fact better than i expected, staff were very attentive,only strange thing you had to preorder your meals an hour at least before eating, I suppose that means everything cooked to order hence the good food
