Hotel was clean and breakfast was good. Check out was rough. We used hotels.com and the lady first made me wait through 6 answered phone calls to acknowledge me then refused to give an itemized receipt for our records.

There was pee around the toilet on the walls, there were cochroaches, the bill was higher than what was stated on hotels.com, dark stains on the couch, when we opened the sofa bed it was completely gross - hair, stains, etc. it was awful. the curtain didn't work to close. my husband has the pics - apologies. but worst trip ever

Check-in staff was great. Morning staff seemed like they had more important things to do. Stayed at end of first floor, non smoking, but not sure policy enforced. Breakfast was great, room was great, TV during breakfast was set to Non-kid friendly channel with lots of children in area. No staff around to ask for change.

The night clerk that checked me in was fabulous. I am so sorry that I did not get her name to formally brag on her attitude, actions, and professionalism. The room was accommodating and near the hospital where I had a procedure done the following day. My wife act the breakfast and had coffee and both were good.

We had a great stay! The staff was very patient considering there were a million teenage baseball players and their families at the hotel! Great experience! Rooms were clean and spacious! Only complaint we have is that the washer had black mold which it stained all over our white baseball pants!!! And $8 pet load is pretty pricey for stained pants! This is no reflection on the staff, it’s a reflection on maintenance of the washers! Front load washer gaskets have to be cleaned regularly to prevent mold and that isn’t occurring!

The good: Friendly responsive staff. Well designed spacious rooms. Location very close to the Summit which has many restaurants. Easy access and parking. The bad: Breakfast was not very good. The heated unit that holds the egg omelets and breakfast sandwiches dries them out terribly. The eggs are rubbery and the breakfast sandwiches are hard as bricks and impossible to eat. Because the breakfast buffet is an important feature to us we’ll look for somewhere else to stay next time. Also you do not get housekeeping unless you request. I think it should be opposite in that housekeeping is standard and you request to opt out if that is what you prefer. Honestly I would have liked to have my bed made and towels replenished without having to ask. After all, that’s one of the nice perks of staying at a hotel and covid really can’t be used as an excuse anymore! Overall this is a nice hotel that with a few tweaks would be a great place to stay.

We come down for baseball at the Hoover Met and have stayed at a few places and so far this one is the best. The front desk was extremely friendly and helped with all our needs. You could tell a pet had stayed in the room we had by the smell (it wasn't awful but the room needed to be freshened up) but other than that the place was great. Breakfast was great the next morning!

We had a great stay here. The rooms were very clean. The staff was friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family. Its in a great area with plenty of shopping and restaurants close by.

I booked a room with a bath tub as my toddler is afraid of showers. I was given a room with a shower. Not a big deal. When it’s time for me to take my shower, the shampoo dispenser is completely empty and I had to use body wash. Again, not a big deal. Our air conditioner quits working in the middle of the night and I try to use the phone to call the front desk. The room phone doesn’t work. Yes it was plugged in. Not a big deal. I look up the number to the hotel and call the front desk. She apologizes and tells me she will switch rooms but I have to come downstairs to get the new room key. So my toddler and I walk downstairs and get the new room key but we have to go back to our old room to grab our things. Now the old room key doesn’t work. So we have to go back downstairs to get that reactivated. Go back upstairs grab our things and move rooms. While these issues by themselves would have been no problem, the fact that it happened all in one stay made my experience disappointing to say the least. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean.

Dirty! Hair in bed and bathrooms. Had to switch rooms and still hair and eye lashes in 2nd room. Trash cans still had trash in them and floors were beyond sticky. Do not stay here!

The staff was extremely friendly but the property was gross and not cleaned properly. The humidity in the room was overwhelming and the smell was like mildew. Would not recommend.

Not to judge the entire property as I know everyone has been low & short staff but my room was nasty. Lucky, I keep cleaning wipes with me but the toilet has old blood and pee stains(like the room was never properly cleaned) there was dried blood also on the floor in front of the toilet! The shower was nasty as well. The bed was comfortable. The table and counter in the room area needed to be cleaned as well. I also had to call them to come remove a large bug that was moving on the ceiling. Dispite the shortage in staff, I still feel like the room that I was going to sleep in should’ve been properly cleaned and for that I will never stay at this location again unfortunately. The location was good for my needs. The sounding areas was ok as well. They do have amenities but due to Covid I did not use any. Hope this helps.

Super clean, fairly new building. Location from highway was a little tedious, but worth the effort. Good variety for breakfast with both hot and cold options. Staff was on point, ready to serve, and very clear. In a unique situation, there was bad thunderstorms during the night of our stay, including possible tornadoes in the area. The front desk clerk was well-advised on what to do and how to proceed if such an emergency should suddenly arise, and was able to give me clear instructions in advance, which added an extra level of care to my stay. I felt my family and I were in good hands! (Thankfully, through the night we never ended up in more than just a Tornado Watch alert.)

I do not like not receiving a receipt at the time of payment. That is my constitutional right to receive a receipt at the time of payment. I was told I could not get a receipt because I reserved through a third party. I will take this up with my Congressional Leaders as a look into this practice.
