We had an exceptional stay in Matera! The property is a gem in a perfect location—just a short walk to the Sassi and the historic center, yet conveniently outside the ZTL, making it easy to reach by car. Our apartment was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully renovated, with a balcony and with excellent finishes and attention to detail.
Breakfast from the café across the street was delicious and a great start to the day. Parking was also convenient, with options nearby (free behind the property, paid on the same street, or in nearby garages).
A special mention goes to our host, Antonio, who was truly outstanding. He was attentive, kind, and always available for any request, providing us with great tips to explore the city. His hospitality made our stay even more memorable.
We couldn’t have chosen a better place to experience Matera—highly recommended!

Lovely spacious room, excellent bathroom, comfortable bed. Two balcony doors overlooking the streets. Complimentary snacks and water and coffee vouchers is a nice touch. Antonio provided suggested walking routes and restaurants. Door locks are dated and clunky and no safe. Noisy crowds at cafe below late at night but windows sound proofed. Would return again.

Great location. Host was great. Helped us to the roo. Have us fodd reccomendations. And gave us a run down of the city. Would definitely stay here again. Place was big and clean and had everything we needed
