I absolutely loved Dowd's Country Inn! The Inn is lovingly maintained - inside and out. My room was beautifully furnished, with soft lighting, and an exceptionally comfortable bed. Breakfast is made-to-order and included in the reasonable lodging fee. The spacious common areas brimmed with character. Duncan Dowd went the extra mile in providing attentive hospitality and service. Being located right on the lovely Lyme Town Green, adds even more interest and charm. I will definitely look here first on my next trip to the Upper Valley.

The Inn was really charming. The breakfast was very good, and the hostess was very sweet. Our room was clean, although a little warm the first night. There was no air conditioner in our room, but we had a fan. Our room was at the end of the hall and very quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

Everything was perfect from check-in to checkout. The young man at front desk was friendly, polite and helpful! It’s a lovely inn, I will encourage friends to visit, and I hope to return again. Room was clean, parking great!
