Let me start off by saying that Davide (host) is a gem of a human being. He was so kind to pick us up and dropped us off at the ferry which we were grateful for. He provided a tour of the city and a list of the recommended things to do and restaurants based on cuisine and atmosphere. Would highly recommend La Botte for their unique gnocchi (Ndunderi). The hotel itself sits atop the mountain amongst a lemon grove (and on the path of lemons) with stellar ocean views...and many feline friends. The hotel room was quite spacious with all the needed amenities.

This was the best stay of our entire trip and I will be recommending it to friends and family!!! The room is more beautiful then the pictures show, this is a room thoughtfully designed and the owner David made us feel right at home! He was there to greet us, showed us around, made excellent recommendations for resturants, always picked up when we called and made this stay the one we wish had been longer! Breakfast every morning on the patio was excellent, AC work perfectly, showers and bathroom was spacious and clean, and David makes you feel so welcomed! My only word of caution, and this is not a critism, but if you cannot manage stairs, then book a room at the hotels on the beach, as there are stairs and no elevators. This is an old fashion Italian B&B, the views are spectacular, but it comes with stairs! It is on The Lemon Path, which you can take up the hill, or go down the 260+ steps down to the waterfront. Either way you have beautiful views of the ocean and town. A great getaway!!!

Everything about our stay a Torre Elisea was incredible. Davide, the host treated us with true hospitality from the start. He drove down to pick us up at the bus stop, offered fantastic restaurant suggestions, and all with such kindness and warmth! The room had the best view imaginable, with a comfotable bed, air conditioning, and a lovely shower. Everything was quiet and peaceful. Davide brought us a delicious breakfast every morning. We felt genuinely hosted and welcomed. Would recommend this stay 100%
