The hotel was very quiet and peaceful, which made our holiday very relaxing. We especially loved the beautiful garden and trees; everything was very well maintained and created a lovely atmosphere. The location was also convenient, as it was not too far from the market. The room was very clean, and the towels and bed linen were changed regularly. The hotel owner was very friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay.
The main downside for us was the food quality and pricing. The snack bar used frozen products, thats ok but we found the overall quality of the food quite poor. Unfortunately, the hamburger was one of the worst we have had in a long time.
Breakfast cost €9 per person, but the quality did not match the price. If it had been even of an average standard, we would have happily had breakfast at the hotel every day. As we were travelling with our 2.5-year-old son, we preferred to prepare our own breakfast instead.
We also found the beer and ouzo prices quite high compared with the nearby market. If the prices had been more reasonable, we would have preferred to order our drinks at the hotel, but instead we bought them from the market.
The rooms are also quite dated and could benefit from some renovation, although they were kept very clean.

Wat ons positief is bijgebleven, is de onverwachte rust in het hotel. Het was een oase van kalmte, wat zorgde voor momenten van echte ontspanning. Het absolute hoogtepunt was zonder twijfel het zwembad. Dit was werkelijk top: het water was schoon, de omgeving goed onderhouden en met openingstijden van 8:00 tot 20:00 uur hadden we ruimschoots de tijd om er gebruik van te maken. Een ander groot voordeel was dat je dag en nacht het hotel in kon. Dit gaf een gevoel van vrijheid en je hoefde je nooit zorgen te maken over hoe laat je terug was.
Wat er tegenviel:
Helaas waren er een aantal aanzienlijke minpunten die onze ervaring negatief beïnvloedden:
Privacy en service: Het meest storende was het gebrek aan respect voor onze privacy. We werden meerdere keren opgeschrikt door schoonmakers die de kamer binnenkwamen terwijl we nog op bed lagen. Dit voelde zeer ongemakkelijk en is onacceptabel. Daarnaast was de handdoekenservice ondermaats; met maximaal drie keer per week schone handdoeken voelde dit niet fris aan.
Verborgen kosten: We waren onaangenaam verrast dat we apart moesten betalen voor de airconditioning. In een warm klimaat zou dit een standaardvoorziening moeten zijn en geen extra kostenpost.
Prijs-kwaliteitverhouding: Het ontbijt was redelijk duur voor wat er werd aangeboden. De prijs stond niet in verhouding tot de kwaliteit en de keuzemogelijkheden.
