Puthooram Seaview Cliff Resort

Puthooram was just such a wonderful place to spend 4nights during one of the busiest tourist times in Varkala. Shyam who runs the place was communicative and was very easy to reach and very helpful prior to and during my stay. He recommended activities, arranged great tuk tuk drivers and even helped plan the next bit of my trip. The place is kept very clean with full time security and has such a nice chill, comfortable vibe to it. The location is such a nice spot on the North cliff and they have their restaurant right next door which offers you 10% off. The food and coffee was so good that I had many of my meals here. If you don't fancy their own restaurant you can just walk along the cliff to an endless choice of eateries, the same goes for shops for everything you could want. The in house masseuse is just amazing and very fairly priced. I would highly recommend and I plan to go back just for the massages! Overall an awesome place in Varkala.

The rooms are nearby cliff and provide good view. Rooms were neat and clean. Ac was working fine. Washroom were big neat and clean. Overall good experience.

We are frequent visitors in Varkala, and have stayed there several times. This time,we were looking for a stay at Varkala Cliff after going there, and many places were over-charging for a single night stay, since it was last-moment need. We found Puthooram in booking.com for almost half the price offered by others and booked it immediately. When we reached, the staffs were very friendly to get the most comfortable room, and one of them even escorted me to get my car from the helipad (common parking area) to their parking yard (they have a wide area for safe parking very close to the place). They have an excellent restaurant in front and a shop where you can buy natural products. Though we stayed there for only one night, we were given special consideration in the restaurant as their guests. The place is very calm, it was an enjoyable and comfortable stay. I would recommend Puthooram without doubt.
