The location of Anadolu Evleri, right in the centre of the old town of Gaziantep, is perfect. If you enjoy exploring historic neighbourhoods and their heritage, this is an ideal base. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, every single one of them. The breakfast was also very good, with authentic flavours of the local cuisine.
If you are arriving by car, parking is available near the hotel. Make sure the hotel staff explain how to reach it, as the neighbourhood where the hotel is located has many small, narrow streets.

This was my third stay here, and there are still things I genuinely like about this place. The location and overall setup have always made it a comfortable choice, which is why I keep coming back.
However, this time the experience felt quite different—and not in a good way. At check-in, the reception mentioned that the room allocated to us was “not the nicest one,” which was surprising. It does make you wonder why such rooms are even part of the offering.
More importantly, the overall atmosphere seems to have changed, possibly due to new management. The warm, personal touch I remembered from previous stays just wasn’t there. There were plenty of staff around, but the service felt oddly disconnected. During checkout, there was no one at reception—we almost ended up checking out on our own. The same lack of attention showed when handling luggage; no one was around to assist or even acknowledge guests with a simple goodbye.
Overall, still a decent place, but the service and experience have noticeably declined compared to previous visits.
