There is no fridge in the room but the reception can keep refrigerated your food.

The grounds were beautiful, and the breakfast and lunch were delicious. The walking trail around the property was also very nice. They conveniently offered safari tours as well. Very pleased with our stay

Things were great. It's not a discount place, you will pay a premium for this stay, but I do think it was worth it.

During our 17-day self-organized trip through Namibia, we stayed at 10 different lodges and glamping camps, giving us a good basis for comparison. We hope these reviews help future travellers choose the right places to stay. * Very good quality food with a wide variety of options. The lunch boxes provided for safari drives could be improved (we suffered food poisoning which was most likely caused by a ham wrap in the box).

* The chalets are rather bland and impersonal, with limited privacy. While some are more secluded, our chalet was directly next to others, making it difficult to sit on the porch without being overlooked by neighbouring guests. * The location itself felt uninspiring. There are no meaningful walking trails, only a short 1 km walk around the property where wildlife sightings are rare. * There is no waterhole on the property, so there are very limited opportunities for wildlife viewing from the lodge. We hadn’t noticed this when booking and found it disappointing compared with other lodges we visited.

The food was good and offered plenty of variety. The shower was the only renovated part of the room, and it was quite nice. The service was friendly, and the hotel grounds are spacious.

This place has a lot of room for improvement — or perhaps we were just unlucky to get an older room compared to the ones shown in the photos. Our room wasn’t very comfortable, as the afternoon sun came directly through the door, which had no curtain, making the air conditioning almost ineffective. Room number 10 also didn’t have a fridge, which is quite necessary in warm weather, even just to keep water cool. To start the day, we found four spiders in the room. We understand it’s a natural environment, but we’ve never experienced this in any of the other lodges we stayed at. The curtains were also old and clearly in need of replacement. In the dining area, the background music was mainstream pop, which completely disrupted the natural atmosphere and sounds.
