That was our second stay at Palm Beach as we stayed there 2 years ago. Its a nice small, family run, hotel facing the long Rethymnon beach with lovely views over the sea and the city. The center of the city and the Venetian Harbor are only 15 min away on foot. Our room was spacious for our needs, having a balcony with vies to the sea and city. Breakfast is good with omelettes cook to order and coffee of your choice. Natasha was excellent as a host. Hotel provide sunbeds on the beach free of charge. Overall we enjoyed our stay and met our expectations
Our son slept on a couch-bed that was rather hard for someone to sleep on. Parking is quite challenging for Rethymnon city and a major problem during busy summer holiday period. There is large municipal parking in the area but can only accommodate a few hundreds of cars needing parking. The long sandy amazing beach is exposed to northern winds and strong winds cause huge waves that make it difficult or inappropriate to swim

Very nice place! The staff were amazing and incredibly welcoming. The location is right in front of the sea, with private beach access, which makes everything so easy and convenient. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend this place!
The lighting in the bathroom could be improved, as it was a bit too dark.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel on a half-board basis. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The food was delicious, with a good variety at both breakfast and dinner. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Good location. The staff were friendly and breakfast was ok. when it rained the restaurant’s roof leaked and towels were used to mop up the water. Guests were seated in the driest areas of the restaurant to avoid getting rained on.
The room was advertised as ‘garden view’ but it was actually just the back of other buildings. it wouldn’t have been too bad if some of the buildings hadn’t been crumbling and cluttered with rubbish etc. The terrace furniture was falling apart and the rattan chairs were rotten and certainly wouldn’t have taken any weight.
