We had a lovely stay at this hotel and, overall, really enjoyed our time here. The location was excellent, the breakfast was absolutely delicious, and our room was spacious, comfortable and very well suited for our stay. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade, which was a lovely touch as we were staying to celebrate our first wedding anniversary.
Yesterday evening, someone opened our room door using a physical key. We later spoke with the owner, who explained that it was her mother checking that the windows were closed for the night, and that she had mistakenly opened our door. She left quickly, and we initially accepted that this appeared to be an honest mistake.
However, a similar thing happened again this morning at around 8am. While I was in the shower and my husband was in the room, the housekeeper opened our door using a card key, again without knocking or announcing themselves first. Having two different people enter our room within approximately 12 hours using two different keys was understandably very unsettling and made us question the communication and procedures between the staff.
We want to be clear that we do not believe there was any malicious intention, and nothing was taken from the room. However, entering an occupied guest room without knocking is a serious privacy concern, particularly when it happens twice in such a short period of time.
Thankfully, on both occasions the circumstances did not lead to anything more serious. Nevertheless, we strongly recommend that the hotel improve communication between staff and ensure that everyone is completely clear on when and how guest rooms can be entered.

Not a dislike, but would have liked tea, coffee and maybe water facilities in the room for when you get back from walking.

Posizione ottima in centro a Selva di Valgardena ma in una via molto tranquilla. L hotel aderisce al programma Valgardena Active grazie al quale gli ospiti hanno tessera bus gratuita e visite guidate gratuite per poter fare escursioni.

Die Auswahl war eher klein, die Eier sehr hart gekocht.
Die Dusche war nicht sauber.
Am zweiten Tag machte niemand die Betten. Wegen einer Knieverletzung enstanden Blutflecken auf dem Leintuch, Obwohl wir das gemeldet haben, wurde das Tuch erst am übernächsten Tag gewechselt.
