The hotel is just outside JR Koenji station, so it would be almost impossible for it to be more convenient. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and roomy for a Japanese business hotel. The staff were attentive and helpful.

Newish, very clean, very polite staff including housekeepers. Location adjacent to a suburban railway station, with lots of small stores and restaurants nearby.

Handles removed, so windows couldn't open even an inch for fresh air. Refrigerator not very cold, no freezer, couldn't unplug at night because wired into the wall. Breakfast coupons could be purchased for a mediocre American chain restaurant.
