Location Location Location! 3 minute walk to Hanoi Cathedral , about a 10 minute walk to Ho Kiem Lake. Exceptional staff - look for Lucas. Comfy beds, ice cold ac. Elevator
Property has seen better days. Its age is showing a bit. Some mold in the bathroom. Take property photos in app with a grain of salt.

Die Lage ist praktisch und top, die Straße des Hotels süß. Viele Massagesalons sind nah, man ist schnell am See und überall sonst auch im Old Quater - das gilt wohl aber für alle Hotels in der Gegend.
Das Hotelpersonal war stets freundlich. Die Rezeption war zwar nicht durchgehend besetzt, aber da eine Nummer hinterlegt ist, kann man immer wen erreichen.
Ich glaube das, was den Aufenthalt für mich am ungemütlichsten gemacht hat, war die Hellhörigkeit. Ich fühlte mich als seien nicht nur die Fenster durchgehend geöffnet, sondern auch die Zimmertür. Alles auf der Straße (Menschen, Autos, Hupen) war durchgehend laut und auch alles im Hotel war zu hören. Die Matratze war auch nicht sehr bequem aber der Lärm war es eher, der mir das Schlafen erschwert hat.
Das Zimmer ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, der Vorhang nicht mehr an allen Stellen angebracht, aber es war an sich trotzdem nicht schmutzig, ein wenig staubig, aber hauptsächlich eben etwas alt. Für die Kakerlaken kann das Hotel nichts, die fühlen sich nunmal in diesem Klima wohl, erschrocken habe ich mich dennoch.
Meine Bewertung von 6 liegt daran, dass ich mich allgemein im Zimmer nicht sehr wohl gefühlt habe.
