The hotel charged a different price than on the booking.com, moreover at a disadvantageous exchange rate. The was often no one at the reception and we had to wait a long time for the opening the entrance door.

The location is one block away from Plaza de Armas and Sara Catalina Monastery. Excellent location. My room has a balcony facing the back of cathedral tower. View is great. It’s not loud once you close the windows. Staffs try very hard to help you. It’s my favorite hotel during this trip. I can stay in the room without going anywhere and still feel I am on vacation.

The hotel is ideally situated near the main tourists attractions in the center of Arequipa. clean and comfortable with a very friendly staff.

The staff were very nice and helpful. Everything was very clean. They cleaned the room every day. The location was superb and we could see the cathedral from the balcony of our room.

It was a bit noisy and cold because we guess that one of the balcony doors didn't close hermetically. However it was nothing too bothering, just a bit. We stayed there 3 nights and would repeat it again if we were in Arequipa.

They had hot water, was clean, and the location is really good.

Non-existent internet, they didn't help with anything, no taxi, no breakfast if you go on a tour before. You can't get drinking water in the hotel.

What I didn't like was the breakfast 🥣. It was so basic. You could upgrade it a little more.

The location was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. you can not book tours directly there but there are many agencies around. We could leave our luggage there for our 2 days-trip which was very good. Breakfast is from 8:00-9:45. Normal peruvian breakfast, scrumbled eggs, juice, marmelade, bread and butter. But if you leave early, you get water and cookies.

It could have be cleaner. The rooms with a balcony are bigger but really loud at rushhour times (at 6 am and 7 pm). If you leave early for the Colca trip these rooms are good, if you want to relax and sleep a little bit longer, the backside ones are better.

Very friendly staff, nice location (directly in the old town of Arequipa next to good restaurants and the beautiful Plaza de Armas). They changed towels, cleaned the room and the breakfast was also okay. The staff helped us with getting a taxi and the check in was flexible, too.

Due to its location, it can be noisy at night. There was a street musician playing terrible music which was very annoying if you want to go to bed early.

Staff speaks no English at all. They try to overcharge you, and make you pay what they have to give away to booking as a commission. So they try to add 10% for all guests that book via Booking.com.
