All the roads in the neighborhood was blocked due to the coup attempt just 4 days before - so it was not possible to reach the hotel by car, and I had to carry all my luggage for like 1 kilometer. Half of the center was shut down, and the whole of Benin center is just a big construction site with big fences and closed roades everywhere.
Than makes the location of the hotel a lot less attractive as you would have to walk big detours in and out of the area, and there is absolutely no shops, restaurants or other things for a tourist in the local area. I'll give the location a 3 out of 10 because of it.
Spacious room and bathroom, and a comfy bed - but NO WATER for 1,5 days ! Electricity was also out for many hours. Eventually both of those issues were fixed after I said I would leave the hotel because of it.
I woke up from the aircondition dripping in my face... it's not a smart place to put the aircondition right above your head in the bed. The Omelette for breakfast with juice and fresh papaya was nice, but no REAL coffee was served - just Nescafé powder.
Not a good location for a tourist.
No water for 1,5 days, electricity out for many hours.
