Location and the view.

Nothing. It was awesome. Just a few upgrades on the fixtures, fitouts and in the bathroom would be nice

The apartment is large and has a very nice view out on the lake. The location in town is very convenient for shopping and to take a stroll on the lakefront promenade. The kitchen equipment is "no thrills", but you'll find what you need. The small balcony to the lake side is very nice to sit, relax and enjoy the view.

The bathroom and kitchen are both a bit dated, and the floors in the living and bedrooms are squeaky; you can also hear the squeaky floors from other apartments above. To get into the parking garage (about 100 yards away) can be very cumbersome because after dark the door does no longer open automatically as you approach, so you have to get a key from a mailbox to enter the garage and hope that nobody else has taken the key. If they did, you wait.

The aprtment is one of the many apartments in the building .Its in the ground floor. you can see lake from the balcony and other bedrooms .You can reach from train station in 5 mins easy walk.Good location for easy train and bus connection.There is a supermarket nearby and pizza restaurant close by for take away.Communicate with manager by whatapp or booking .com messages.There is a information phto inside the aprtment for essential information.Its quiet and peaceful at night.Very close to all attractions in the area.Ideal place if you want to avoid a busy place like interlaken .Very spacious and enchanting location.

First of all I have to say booking on website with the booking.com was easy.The pictures provided showed a beautiful apartment on lake side with all amenities mentioned and price sounded like a dream destination to go to.I booked on the basis of the available photos and some negative reviews which pointed to the problems(all places have some problems). I was willing to overlook some minor inconveniences for the location.On arrival we found that the decor is outdated, traditional chalet look with creaking floors, old heavy noisy creaking doors with multiple areas of loose fittings, broken sofa bed, uncomfortable beds and pillows, noises from apartment above , smoking smell from other apartment customers, balcony with damaged flooring.I immediately raised these issues with the manager and have been reassured that these will be looked in to and some upgrades have been planned to improve the apartment. The manager assured me that he has recently taken over the management and he will be taking my concerns on board and will improve the apartment and he offered a waiver and discount on my price which I appreciate very much. One other thing I need to mention is the other apartments in the same block have been upgraded and looked modern compared to the one I stayed in but were occupied when I booked . There is no washing machine or dryer in this apartment , its on the beginning of the apartment complex so a car park next to the apartment gets busy during the day for customers coming to the hotel opposite .Lots of activity in the area as visitors walk on the promenade and take photos. overall the partment I booked needs improvement and the mananger is aware of it , appreciated all the shortcomings I raised and reassured of the plans to upgrade in the next few months.I caution warning beware of what you are booking and if you are happy with above and find its a good location and price then go for it.But dont expect it to compare with modern hotels.
