It was a beautiful large Manor House set in acres of landscaped grounds and a private pool but in the middle of nowhere in terms of transportation and very hard to get to unless you rent a car
The fact that our room was on the top floor - it was tiny and had a really small bathroom was disappointing. There were no tea or coffee facilities in the room and the hotel didn’t offer any additional food apart from breakfast which was mediocre to say the least. There was no option to order food at lunchtime but the staff were fed and for dinner if you were staying in the hotel that evening there was only one choice for food and at 30 euros ahead it was not all that either. I felt the staff were not that friendly and I felt uncomfortable asking for any additional amenities.
