What a beautiful hotel, by far the highlight of our recent holiday to Iceland. The hotel felt more like a modern art gallery than a Hotel, a beautifully designed building with big windows looking out over the Fjord and so much light coming in. The walls are full of paintings from Icelandic artists and there are art books in the corridors. The room we had was extremely spacious, the beds comfortable, the kitchenette well stocked, the bathroom nice and big. It was spotlessly clean - I could go on! If you are in this area and looking for accommodation then you really must stay here!
There were lots of flies about if you leave the windows open. They don't fly around the room just stay high up on the windows. Maybe it was the time of year

It's the kind of property that we like to stay at - a unique experience in its own way. The building is light and airy, the setting is gorgeous. The spacious room had everything we needed.

Definitely one of the best places we stayed during our trip to Iceland. Excellent value for money – the price was very reasonable considering the quality and comfort offered.
The apartment was very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. We had a separate bedroom, a large living area and a kitchenette, which made it feel more like a proper apartment than a typical hotel room. Everything was very clean and well maintained.
The breakfast deserves a special mention – very tasty, with fresh products and a good selection. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere.
The hotel itself has a very interesting and unique character. The common areas are beautifully designed, with lots of paintings and artwork, almost giving the place the feel of a small art gallery. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet, making it a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing. And the friendly dog welcoming guests is a lovely bonus! :)
A great place to stay when exploring northern Iceland by car – close to Akureyri, yet away from the city and very peaceful. We would definitely stay here again.

Check-in was very easy. There was plenty of parking. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment and it had an amazing view of the mountains and fjord. Everything was very clean and well maintained and we enjoyed using the full kitchen to make breakfast. The entire building is full of the owner's art collection and feels like an art museum.
