We had a very enjoyable stay at Kay Jay Beach House. The staff worked incredibly hard throughout our visit and were always friendly, helpful, and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcome.
The location is excellent, with a beautiful, quiet beach that’s perfect for relaxing. The sea views are superb, and we particularly enjoyed watching the local wildlife from the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was generous with plenty of choice.
Overall, this is a lovely place to stay in a peaceful setting, with excellent staff and a fantastic beachfront location. We’d happily recommend it and would stay again.
There are just a couple of areas that could make the experience even better. The hotel would benefit from having more sun loungers, as five simply isn’t enough when the property is busy. A small fridge in each room would also be a welcome addition.

Ein kleines, gemütliches Gästehaus in wunderschöner Lage direkt am ruhigen Strand von Kalkudah. Das Personal war sehr herzlich und aufmerksam, und die Küche war ausgezeichnet – jedes Essen war frisch und richtig lecker. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt, wir kommen gerne wieder!

The staff was very nice helping us. Since I wasnt satisfied with the room when we arrived (not family room as requested), they arrange so that we have to double room communicating. Breakfast was good.
It doesnt look at all like the pictures. Not well maintained over the years. Bad smell around our room. We were situated just above the kitchen and the staff room, the area is dirty. The room was very dirty. The pool is very small and water is hot. I cut myself on the broken ceramic.
