There was a man, Bor, who was so friendly and welcoming. This property felt so luxurious but also homey. The Michelin restaurant served absolutely delicious local food. We slept so well here. It was so quiet with antique books everywhere. The bath was so nice in the bathroom with everything you could want - robes, slippers, conditioner, shampoo and Epsom salt.

Beautifully maintained property. Staff were highly attentive, polite and wonderful people. We thoroughly enjoyed our Michelin star dinner to celebrate our anniversary. Wonderful experience!

We stayed overnight at this hotel by chance as our flight back to the UK was cancelled at the last minute. We did not arrive until just before midnight, even so the night staff was very helpful.
The bedroom was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It was good that they provided toiletries in the rooms, so we didn't have to fully unpack the case.
The breakfast was good too, with plenty of choice and a lovely plate of scrambled eggs.
Even better the manager gave us both a lift to the bus station in the local big town so that we could get the bus to Ljubljana.
