We stayed at the Yellow Diamond for two days to enjoy the Diamond mine and we thought it was great. Friendly staff and owner. Responsive to any needs. Clean and ready for us when we got there. This is a small town with a tourist attraction and this motel does a great job for it's visitors.

Very nice place! We were there in December before Christmas and we we were only one of a few guests, so it was super quiet. The girl who works there is very accommodating and refreshed our room daily in the 3 days were were there. Very clean rooms. We visited the Crater of Diamonds state park and plan on returning and will definitely stay here again.

It met our needs, had all that we needed. Was sparse, not even one chair. Could use a towel bar in bathroom and a curtain to block out bright outside light! Was noisy with traffic too. Staff was SUPER nice and helpful! Bed was comfy and had enough towels! Oh, Kleenex would have been nice!

Upon our arrival, the front desk lady said that there were bagged breakfasts, but the next morning the staff person (who opened the office late) said that there would be no breakfasts. Find a cafe in town. I spent several minutes signing a series of legal documents that threatened severe fines if we guests did anything wrong. I never had this experience before.

Shower had a very slight leak and the overflow plate is upside down but don’t take that to seriously I work for the Home Depot In the plumbing department so that would stand out for me. What would be good is to have access to movies on the dish network there’s not much of a night life after 5pm But I was very happy with the room and help from the staff

Staff gave me a runaround dealing with change on reservations. Refused to help and being a smart butt. Charge extra for everything. My child decided to go last minute charge extra for her but did not give extra like extra pillow or swap anything up. Luckily we had a king. There was absolutely no where in the room to eat so had to eat on the bed or the floor. When shower it was like the water was connected to other rooms. Would lose pressure and the water would change temperatures quick. Constant banging coming from across the area from other areas of the motel. Beds extremely uncomfortable. No where to put clothing. This has been one of the worse places i have stayed.

We stayed 3 days though there wasn’t much to do we ended up exploring the smaller towns around. The only issue we had in our room someone forgot to clean the coffee pot the bedspread was dirty and stunk luckily we always bring our own bedding. The other thing they only have mini blinds lots of light came through had a hard time sleeping the 3 days we were there the air worked first 2 nights but on the 3rd night it was hot. Other than that it was fine staff was very nice. We loved that when we left to explore and we come back that evening the room had been refreshed and bed made. However if you book through booking it says on there website it’s a $75 deposit it’s actually $150 we were a little shocked we had to pay that much but we got it back the same day we checked out.

The location was perfect. The clerk was nice as could be. The room was recently remodeled but the bed frame felt like it would break if I sat on the end of the bed - and the shower was noticeably not upgraded. Nice place though.

Was disappointed. Not even a chair in the room to sit in. Pool closed. Could not sit anywhere except bed. Very uncomfortable.. Had to eat in bed. No table to put anything on. Only one pillow each

Bring your own shampoo. Rooms had no seating areas, which come in handy when putting on your shoes. Overall clean and updated inside from what the outside looks like. Especially liked both nightstands had usb and outlets which all hotels should have these days.

This is a cute little motel. We stayed in the family room which contained three queen beds, a couple of nightstands, a table and chair, a tv, refrigerator and coffee maker. It had a cute little bathroom. We stayed here because of its closeness to the Crater of Diamonds. We only got to stay one night but would love to come back and stay again in the future.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. The entire motel has been renovated and was absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway. We met some of the other guests at the pool and they couldn’t have been nicer. Everything is within walking distance and such a cute little town

Remodeled motel. Very clean rooms and property. Close to Crater of Diamonds Park and walking distance to the square which has a few shops and restaurants. Also has a well maintained small swimming pool.

This property was clean, roomy and safe. We rented the room with an adjoining room that had a bed and a kitchen. It was nice to have the room for our family to stretch out in, to have 2 tv's, and to be able to cook breakfast before the day started, or to cook/eat supper after a long day of diamond searching without having to go to a restaurant. The pool was refreshing as well.
