Saltbox 5D is a country townhome that gives guests that rustic elegance you expect out of a Vermont vacation home. The decor places you in the most relaxed environment possible. The kitchen, dining room, and living room are in a great open concept layout. The living room features a TV and a real fireplace to keep you cozy no matter what you want to do. Off the back of the home lies a large wooden deck which provides the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee and take in the natural beauty of the Green Mountains that lie just off of the home’s grounds. Saltbox 5D features three bedrooms in a split-level floorplan. The main floor consists of the well-equiped kitchen, half bath, dining and living area, deck access, and primary bedroom. The primary bedroom features a full en suite bath. The second bedroom has large windows that allow guests to wake up to Vermont’s natural beauty. The third bedroom provides more room to unwind. The entire home has air-conditioning throughout to keep you comfortable no matter the season. Whatever time of year you decide to visit Vermont, you will enjoy Quechee’s spectacular views, convenience to recreational activities, and a comfortable feeling of luxury and seclusion. While offering the best of Vermont vacations, Quechee is convenient to Boston, New York, Albany, cultural and entertainment events, and nearby world-class health care (Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center). The Quechee Club boasts two championship golf courses (Highland and Lakeland) in the summer which, in the winter, provide groomed Nordic skiing trails. These Quechee Club amenities require rental packages and are available upon request from the Quechee Club directly. THINGS TO KNOW Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors! Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The property is nice and in a fine location. The unit is a bit old with chipped formica on the kitchen counters, etc. Also, the blinds in the bedrooms are broken so that you cannot close the blinds to keep out the morning sun. That is a problem since being on vacation you do not want to wake up at sunrise ! Also, the listing states that one bedroom has both a double bed AND a single bed. This is not true. There are only 3 bedrooms with one bed in each room. No single bed. Also the listing states Central AC. Also, not true. They do have AC units and mini splits, but it is not Central AC. Parking lot is also far from the unit which might be a problem for some people with mobility issues. This should be spelled out in the listing. No large coffee maker or Keurig. Only one very small (prob 12 oz) coffee maker.

This is a clean cozy townhome but was hard to navigate as everything nearby was dark at night. Good to get away from everything, not convenient to shops or much.

We stayed for 3 nights. We love the area. This is our third time back. Quechee is beautiful and Woodstock is very quaint. Great skiing nearby. The unit was very clean and cozy. It had everything we needed. Finding the office was a bit of a challenge in the dark and neither google maps nor Waze could find the exact spot.

We would absolutely rent this again. Sheets and towels new, mattress downstairs comfortable, and great location. Gave it 4 stars because there was trash left over from the previous guest in the master bedroom trash can, and we did not have hot water for the first night/morning. We called maintenance and they took care of it right away.

Exceptional value We had to work on a new house worried about going to hotels with corona very quiet seemed most condos were empty very clean and great value Kitchen stocked with everything we needed large screen TVs washer dryer 3 bedrooms and 2 and a half baths

Great location and well appointed. Felt very spacious. Great big TV in master and living room . Lots of room for everyone to spread out and 3 bathrooms are helpful. Furniture ok, if a little dated looking but in good shape. Check-in a little impersonal, Keys left in box and had trouble getting someone to answer phone or email question.

Furnishings are dated, but comfortable. Exceptionally clean (and I’m picky). Quiet condo community. Bear warning sign posted at dumpster was a surprise. We brought two small dogs with us. I was a little nervous about cleanliness from former pet guests, but the property is well maintained and I would definitely stay here again. Kitchen was well stocked with essentials for cooking.

The Saltbox Condo 5D was clean, the view was of forest and mountains, the furnishings were tasteful, the beds and furniture were comfortable. If you cook, the kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with lots of pots and pans, as well as a coffee maker and grinder and a mixer. The wood burning fireplace made for cozy evenings. We will come back to this unit in the future.

We had a great stay at the condo- it had everything we needed for a fun weekend away with kids, dog and friends. Plenty of room for two couples and kids, kitchen is well stocked and everything was comfy! Thanks for a great stay!
