Welcome to The Hummingbird. Nestled among the Oak trees in this peaceful retreat is your next weekend away. Our brand new resort offers some unique accommodations for Waco visitors. We look forward to hosting you!
The Space:
Hummingbird Treehouse
The hummingbird bird does not derive its name from a vocal sound. Rather, the bird is so called because of the throbbing hum produced by its rapidly beating wings. When hummingbirds find a good nesting site, they frequently reuse it, building a new nest right on top of an older one.
The Hummingbird treehouse is a good temporary nesting site for two guests. Stretch out and relax on the king-size bed or sit a spell on the spacious deck. A cozy dining nook beckons you to have a snack or a meal. Speaking of which, the chefs among you will appreciate the kitchen area supplied with utensils, cookware, hot plate, microwave, refrigerator, and Keurig beverage maker. A cozy dining nook provides great window views.
Need Internet access? Individual Wi-Fi is provided in the treehouse. Have a Roku subscription? Stream your favorite content to the TV. A full list of amenities is below.
Conveniently located to local area attractions, the treehouse is only 15 minutes from Homestead Heritage Craft Village, Magnolia Silos, and Baylor University, just to name a few.

Majestic oak trees provide a restful, sun dappled environment for your stay. Our rural location is peacefully removed from adjacent commercial clutter and noise, yet is only minutes from interstate access and shopping.
Getting Around:

Other Things to Note:
The structural supports for the treehouse cabins are intensely strong yet flexible. The flexibility allows slight movement of the cabin within the tree canopy if the canopy itself shifts sufficiently. You might feel a gentle rhythm from nature—but rest assured that the treehouse cabins, although elevated, are firmly anchored to the ground.
There is a fishing pond in the center of the property that is stocked with largemouth bass and sunfish. It is catch and release only right now. We also have a double pickle ball court on site.

Clean, Cozy and Comfortable, perfect accommodations for a couples get away. Wished the weather would have been better so we could have enjoyed the covered porch more and the outdoor spaces but we did enjoy our coffee sitting out on the porch listening to the birds and bundled up real good to take a stroll around the resort. It has to be one of the nicest RV resort I have ever seen before. Plenty of bath houses and laundry facilities. The Hummingbird Treehouse was the perfect spot for a couple of old folks to have a romantic weekend together. The Treehouse has everything you could need from a hot plate, microwave and a mini fridge with a nice size freezer compartment which is rare in a mini fridge. Big thick soft bath towels and a huge walk in shower and a remote control ceiling fan over the bed, it took us a minute to figure out there is a switch by the headboard you need to flip to get the remote to work for the ceiling fan. You can tell the owners are still adding more RV pad sites and a nice Community building or an event venue with a nice covered porch by the water, real curious to see what that building will be.
