This is my second stay at Nine Tree Seoul Myeongdong 2. The pillow selection was great. Similarly, staff and location are great, but some parts of the stay this time was disappointing and fell short of expectations. Will reconsider coming back to this hotel again.
The room faced the main street of Mareunnae-ro and was extremely noisy well past midnight. Soundproofing is very poor, you can clearly hear late-night drinkers, cars, and also garbage collection starts at midnight. Garbage collection will go on for 20 minutes around midnight. I specifically requested a higher floor to avoid this, but was only assigned the 8th floor. My previous stay didn't face this street and was fine, but definitely avoid Mareunnae-ro facing rooms if you are sensitive to noise.

Location was good, room was kept clean.
Breakfast was terrible, food was only warm, limited choice, I could see why breakfast was mostly empty.
