Esme lodge was quirky very clean and a perfect size for the 2 of us .
The outside seating In the pit area was not used as not very comfortable, a small bistro table and chairs on the decking would have been a preferred.

The accommodation was great.
Facilities on site were brilliant, staff were really lovely.
Evening entertainment for the littles was brilliant.
Food in the pub wasn’t the best.
Toddler pool was pretty disappointing.

The cabin was comfortable, warm with pleasant decor & outside furniture. It was close to beautiful forest walks. The swimming pool was excellent & warm.
There were no towels provided which I was surprised by & although the cabin was supposed to be for 4 people there was only crockery & glasses for 3. The staff quickly rectified the issue with the plates. The pool changing rooms need upgrading & the showers were pitiful & needed the water power improving.

Location
Had to walk over mud area to get into the property as the path did not go all the way to the steps.
No net curtains for any privacy. Carpet from kitchen to lounge area putting off and is a trip hazard
