Marco and Olga are brilliant hosts, really friendly and really happy to help and offer advice and quick to respond to messages. We were given freshly picked fruit on numerous occasions and also some eggs which were superb!
Madeira blue house is very clean and comfortable and has everything you need. We stayed 2 weeks and the house was cleaned and towels etc changed half way through.
The property is on a steep hill but everything is in Madeira!
The sea views are amazing and ideally placed to watch the sunset.
There are a few bars and a convenience shop within walking distance and a lovely restaurant called Calheta Green about a mile up the road. The walk down to Calheta beach takes about 30 minutes and a taxi back costs around €10.
Madeira Blue House is an ideal place to explore Madeira and only 20 minutes drive from alot of the hiking trails. I'd certainly recommend a hire car when staying in this area and definitely get an automatic as some of the hills in Madeira are unbelievably steep and twisty. We were able to park opposite the accommodation.

Vriendelijke en behulpzame gastheer. Keuken heeft alle benodigdheden. Tv kan Netflix op. Mooie buitenruimte om te zitten.
De badkamer is vochtig waardoor er een onaangename geur hing en de handdoeken niet fris roken. Het bed zakte aan 1 kant in, je lag in een kuiltje.
