Amazing stay at Kudrat Teerthan Valley!

The location of the property is really beautiful, high in the mountains with a great view of snow peaked mountains and valley. The staff and the owners were great hosts. I really liked the warm hospitality and food. It was more like staying at the owners home as their guest. The rooms and property is done really well with great aesthetics and a lot of attention to detail. I also enjoyed the trek to the meadows nearby and the serene view of the mountains from there. The villagers around are very friendly and helpful too!

Brillint location. Warm and Friendly hosts

What a fantastic location and a outstanding host. With warm and freindly staff the homestay felt like we were at a old friends home.

We should have spent more time at the homestay. 2 days was just no long enough to soak it all in.

Lovely motivated hosts

View from room was nice. Food was good, specially the mutton curries. Lovely staff. Hosts were good and attentive. Property has its charm with nice decor everywhere. Friendly dogs. Play room for kids is excellent. Other guests were friendly, respectful and social.

Cumbersome rulebook with added costs for everything, which made us uncomfortable to ask for anything extra. Food was hit and miss. Could do with having rules to have dogs out of the house or bath the dogs regularly, we had various insects bites every night. Generally, property needs maintenance to deal with leaks, water sweeping out of bathrooms, carpet washing, etc. You have to have a car to go anywhere, and roads are no good. Generally the layout is such that you get little sunshine and cloths remain damp for long. Need to climb 4 levels of stairs to reach the property from the street. Can get over crowded with no privacy at times. Some nights we had loud guests playing music mid night.

A very tasteful and artistic property that provides warmth and comfort. Everything excelled from food to ambience to host to caretakers. Big Thank you to Bhavna and Sudhir for hosting us. Had an amazing experience while staying there. Highly recommended!!!

Best place to stay in Tirthan valley

beautiful boutique stay where the owners themselves look after the guests giving personal attention to your wants and needs Large rooms with wood heaters

They took bookings for 3 nights but could only offer 2 due to overbooking

Most Memorable Stay

Kudrat is a very tastefully done property and very comfortable and warm place. It has breath-taking views of the mountains. The hosts and owners Bhawna and Sudhir are the friendliest and warmest people and it was such a pleasure getting to spend time with their family including Baby Kudrat and Olly. The food served by Bhawna is to die for. Moments spent together with the hosts including river side picnics, drinking sessions and listening to all their fun stories have really become most cherished memories from our trip. We are gonna surely visit Kudrat again.

Warmth and peace in Tirthan valley

We stayed at Kudrat for 4 nights and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for peace and solitude. A very tastefully designed property with an excellent view of the mountains. The living spaces and rooms are luxurious with nice balconies. The outdoor seating is well designed to be with nature all around. The hosts Bhawana and Sudhir are extremely warm and friendly, our conversations with them made our stay all the more memorable and special. Olly is a bundle of energy to be with. Bulbul we miss you too. Excellent food and polite staff. Thank you preparing our catch of day from the river!

Best vacation I could have asked for!!

Its like a home away from home, sudhir and bhavna ensure that you become a part of their home :-) Kudrat is so beautifully placed to give you a view of the valley and accessibility to other villages. While November was supposed to be off season, it worked perfectly for me as it snowed and gave me ample time to meet sudhir bhavna, know more about kudrat, share stories and bond over four days. Needless to say the food is a definite attraction and bhavna lives upto the hype, had different styles of food along with dessert and all top notch. Such warmth and care, amazing set of people along with the background players (lucky, roshan, sheru and others), highly recommended for all. I for one am already thinking and planning my next trip and how it can work out :-)

Honestly there wasn't anything which I did not like, I would have loved to spend more time and relax.

Feedback about stay

It is very good and peaceful place. The staff and food is very good.

One suggestion - if they can make the arrangement of hot water for 24 hours during winter, it will be good. Geysers are available but it took lot of time to get the hot water. Might be solar heaters will be good option.
