A Iovely place refurbished to a very high standard. Room was very nicely appointed as was the generous sized bathroom. Lovely bed linen and nice sized room. Host was friendly. Breakfast was excellent- so much choice. The evening meal was also lovely luckily Katinka had something in to make us a 3 course meal. Unfortunately we could only eat on the day of arrival as 48hours is required to get the ingredients and we had booked the day before .
I wouldn’t have booked had the rule about taking off shoes before entering and wearing indoor shoes Ben in the property description. As bikers we don’t have room for shoes dedicated to indoors so spent our time there in our socks. If anything for us it was too nice. The hostess was quite rightly very proud of her lovely home but it didn’t make us feel at ease. Having to squeegee the shower and told where the cloth was if any water fell on the oak flooring. Very remote location so very quiet . I’m sure others would find it great but not for us
