Located in Grindelwald, this lovely chalet for $848 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Large chalet with sunny south facing views within walking distance (7 min) to Terminal gondolas for skiing and hiking. Offering high standard using the highest quality materials, The chalet boasts stunning views from each room and bedroom of the world renown North face of the Eiger (3970m). Built to a high specification, Chalet M has been stylishly finished with elegant furniture and beautiful furnishings making it ideal for families or groups of friends alike. There is a total of 45 steps leading up to the chalet. Please consider if traveling with elderly or very young children. Here are some typical Questions and Answers: ABOUT THE CHALET 1. How is the chalet setup? The chalet was originally purchased to be used with my family and friends. Therefore it has all the amenities and comfort that one could expect from someone’s home. It is our favorite place to escape to with my wife and children. We find the views in Grindelwald to be some of the most stunning of all the Alps. No wonder tourists from around the world come to Grindelwald each year. 2. How many people can stay in the chalet? The chalet is setup for 10 people. With a baby or small child that uses the provided cot-bed you can have 11 people. 3. What is the layout of the chalet • Ground floor, you have and entrance hall for ski boots (with ski boot/glove warmer), two bedrooms, one bathroom with double sink and shower, one toilet, kitchen with counter top bar (4 stools), dining room area (10 seats), living room and fireplace area. • Upper Floor: you have the master bedroom, with en-suite bathtub, toilet and small sink. Across the hall is a bathroom with toilet, double sink and shower. There is a TV room with large couch, flat screen TV, and a small bedroom. • Bottom Floor (lower level) there is a bedroom, a bathroom with bath tub, double sink and shower, the cave with washer/dryer, and a separate workout room. 4. What is the bedroom and bed Layout? • Ground floor: first bedroom with King Size bed, second bedroom with Queen Size bed. • Upper Floor: master bedroom with King Size bed. Small bedroom with two single beds (best for children as low ceiling). • Bottom Floor (lower level): Queen size bed 5. What is the bathroom situation? See point 2, there are in total 4 bathrooms (3 separate and 1 on-suite in the master bedroom) 6. How is the kitchen equipped? The kitchen is fully equipped, with all the cutlery, plates, glasses, as well as pots and pans. There is a coffee machine (drip) and espresso style (you can get espresso type capsules in the grocery store), kettle to boil water, toaster, blender. There is a raclette machine and fondue pot. Spices/Oils/Paper Towels/Supplies: we leave spices, cooking oil, and some basic supplies (a few dish washer tablets, some liquid soap for dishes, etc.). We ask our guests to simply replace what they finish, this way the chalet always has the basics. And it avoids you having to buy everything. I suggest you check what is there when you arrive before going to the grocery store.

We had a great time in Grindelwald. Really nice place with everything you need in the Chalet available. Can highly recommend the place. Owner is very responsive and helpful if anything is needed

The communication with Nathan was perfect. Very helpful and with quick response. We are a group of three families, 6 adults and 5 kids ( 5 to 14 years old) and are going on holiday about twice a year for the last 7 years and we all agreed THIS was the best place we ever had. Beds comfy, view perfect, pots and pans and raclette and cutlery etc. not counted - there was more than enough of everything. We hate it, if there are exactly the number of glasses, plats etc. for the number of people the house is advertised). The bedrooms are nicely decorated with lots of storage- big cupboards. The bathrooms are all new with everything one needs ( hairdraiers etc). The house has been decorated with lots of attention to details. You can see in every single corner, that the owners wanted to make it a special place for them self and we are glad they are willing to share it with us! There are two covered parking places under the house. Since we had a lot of snowfall the week we stayed in the chalet, we were glad to have 4WD cars. You can walk to the skiing facilities, but because of the steep climb back up to the chalet after skiing we took the cars. There is free parking close to the station where the train to the Kleine Scheidegg leaves from. Otherwise it’s 5 SFR. We definitely recommend Nathan’s exceptionally nice chalet and would love to come back. ( The review might sound a bit over the top, but it really is the perfect place)

I and my family stayed 4 days at this place and everything was wonderful! Beatiful view with absolutely perfect place made our trip great! The owner responded to my asks promptly, so there was no problems at all.

The chalet was gorgeous, the kitchen well equipped, and there were plenty of rooms and bathrooms for our family of 5 plus the 4 grandparents. We absolutely loved our stay at Chalet M and in Grindelwald.

Superb property, situated very conveniently for mountains, shops, cable cars etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our second stay at the chalet. It was every bit as good as we remembered it. Happy to go back any time.

Lovely Swiss Alps home near Grindewald with all the amenities you need to have good family time while visiting the mountains. The driveway is steep and the home is not best for walking to/from town, but the charm of the house makes up for the distance from town. Great kitchen for cooking! Good quiet sleeping house!

Chalet M is an impeccably appointed residence with sweeping views of all the majesty the region offers. Location is an easy distance to town and transportation with the challenging gradations of the different paths posing a good warmup to all the activities available to you. Nathan was professional, responsive and overall great in communications leading up to and during the stay. Highly recommended!

We rented Chalet M May 17-24. There were 10 of us ranging in age from10- 79. We had a wonderful time. The chalet is even more beautiful and the view of the Eiger more stunning then the pictures show. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of dishes, pots, glasses and any other utensil you may need. Our favorite surprise was seeing the raclette ovens and we had a very memorable farewell dinner. There are enough bathroom linens and if you need to wash there is a washer and dryer. Nathan is a gem to work with and always gets back to you if you have questions. While planning our stay there were so many chalets to choose from. I will save you some time and tell you to rent this one. You will not regret it!
