Everything was lovely, clean and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay and the peaceful surroundings.
The only thing we didn’t like was the mattress. It was extremely uncomfortable, and both my husband and I suffered from terrible back pain. We had exactly the same problem when we stayed here last year. I really hope the mattress can be replaced, as this is the only thing that lets the property down. With a better mattress, everything would be perfect!

The perfect peaceful getaway – we can’t wait to return!
We had the most amazing stay at Elm Lodge at Brook Valley Glamping. Everything was perfect from start to finish! The lodge was spotlessly clean, comfortable and had absolutely everything you could possibly need. You could tell that so much thought had gone into making guests feel at home.
Charlotte was a fantastic host. She came to check that we had settled in comfortably and even came back the morning after a particularly windy night to sweep the leaves and rainwater off our decking. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and her little touches made our stay even more special.
The hot tub was perfect, and we absolutely loved that there was no time limit on when you could use it, unlike so many other places. Each lodge also has its own designated parking space, which was really convenient. The lodge is only around a five-minute drive from town, making it easy to pick up food or anything you need, yet it feels so secluded and peaceful.
We loved being able to walk on Charlotte’s land and see the sheep. We even spotted a family of hares! It was such a lovely, relaxing setting and exactly what we needed to switch off and spend quality time together.
The information booklet inside the lodge was also incredibly helpful, covering everything from check-in and check-out to local attractions, hot tub instructions and how to use the appliances. Every little detail had been thought of.
We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better stay. It was peaceful, beautiful, comfortable and made even more special by Charlotte’s hospitality. We stayed for our anniversary, and it was everything we could have hoped for and more.
Thank you, Charlotte, for such a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend Elm Lodge to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. ❤️
The only small thing to mention is that the internet can be a little patchy in places, but honestly, we didn’t come away for the weekend to sit on our phones, so it really didn’t affect our stay at all. The gravel track leading to the lodges is also worth taking slowly, but it was absolutely fine.

Very nice place and quite
Only one but think The bed was very uncomfortable — when I woke up in the morning, my bones hurt a lot. That needs to be replaced, and the sofa as well; my son could barely fall asleep.

Really nice and clean property. Would 100% recommend this property. Charlotte was more than happy to help. The property comes well equipped. Hot tub was clean and relaxing, there’s a bbq you can use and has utensils for cooking. P
Nothing to say. Perfect in every way.
