The cabin is indeed cozy and comfortable, with a spectacularly beautiful location by the lake surrounded by trees and wildlife. The sauna is fabulous and the swim in the lake to cool down absolutely amazing. Very helpful and friendly owners.
There was nothing we didn’t like, but it’s good to realise there is no running water: drinking water is provided but for a shower you need to walk up a few 100 metres to the main house. Also, the (compost) toilet is outside the cabin. For us this was not a problem, but can imagine this may be difficult if you’re less mobile.

After tens of different cottage experiences this was first time there was not enough wood for sauna (we as Finnish cottage guests like hot sauna often as it truly belongs to cottage life), we were advised to carry wood by ourselves from near main building even if they had motored little tractor for it and wood shelter near the cottage was filled not until for the last evening, we broke our drinking water vessel by accident as we had to fill that, too, ourselves because hosts were out of area until evening. We got later info that we need to pay that jug.
