At first, we were quite disappointed for a couple of reasons, but after spending some time there, we realised that the property does have a few strong positives.
The biggest advantage is the location. Hadimba Temple is literally around a five-minute walk away, there is a small market nearby, and the area is active yet quiet and safe. It is not really a view-focused property, but the accessibility makes up for that to an extent.
Cocoland is nearby for food, along with several stalls and small places to eat. It is a practical stay if your priority is being close to Hadimba Temple, the local market and the active parts of Manali.
The staff was not there when I was about to check in, was literally calling out loud. There wasn’t much space. Just a property! With one room! If there was nothing nearby then all you can do is sit in the room.
Luckily we good one with balcony and atleast felt like it was breathable. That’s why the accessibility of this space is of importance.

It was nice in a ab&b way. The staff were friendly, polite, and very helpful. But they had their limitations. Food was nice.
It was a walkup. My husband went through foot surgery so walking up and down was a bit tough on him.
The property had no hand shower & we were provided with really tiny bar of soaps and shampoo as part of their toiletries. The water was cold and took a long time to become hot. It was freezing cold . Overall it was an uncomfortable stay.
