About this house rental

Nestled in Fayetteville, this attractive house for $127 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. MacKay Cottage is located in the heart of Cottonade next to Ft Liberty and is the cozy retreat you have been looking for. You will have the entire home available to you; which is 1610 square feet not counting the garage area. This is a three bedroom home with two bathrooms. There is also a designated work space if you need to work. The dining room space was created to be able to sit down as a family to eat together or play games. There is also a large fenced in backyard so you can bring your dog with you; or simply enjoy the beautiful space outside. The master bedroom has a king bed, the 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and the 3rd bedroom has two twin beds. We also have two queen pull out sofa beds. With these two extra beds, this home can comfortably fit 10 people. Plus there is a large garage that’s been made into a recreation room so you and the kids can watch different shows as there are hundreds of dvd’s and VHS movies you can watch… old school 😉. We have some baby basic supplies such as a small side crib, stroller, and other baby supplies to make things a little easier for those of you with small children. We even have a basket of baby proofing items you can use such as outlet covers, toilet bowel protectors, etc. This is our only vacation home and we will give you and your family the attention you deserve. We try to respond to questions immediately. If you have mobility issues here is what you need to know about the property. There are two steps to get into the house. This is a ranch style home so everything is on the ground floor. The showers are walk in showers but have a small lip. We have had people be able to access the home in a wheelchair by going through the garage. I was told there was enough space to be able to comfortably maneuverer around the house. But I need to stress that this is not ADA approved. We try out best to accommodate as much as we can.

We stayed here while visiting military family. The house is located in the perfect quiet neighborhood that allowed us to enjoy family time. Property is clean and well maintained and the beds are comfy! The host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. She went it of her way to check in and make sure we had everything we needed. I would return to this adorable property! Thanks for a great long weekend!

My first impression on entering this property was how clean and tastefully decorated it is. The cottage is so bright and airy, must be all the natural light streaming in from the windows. The beds are very comfortable and the master bedroom has an electric fireplace for cozy nights . We had towels for days and with rain showers in both bathrooms we needed those towels because the kids took many showers. For families members with differing temperature requirements, Kristine provided enough throws and extra blankets to keep everyone cozy. Each room had a remote control fan that actually worked, for people like me who can't sleep without a fan even in winter. Kristine provided everything we needed and seemed to have thought of everything.The movie media room was a big hit with the children. The neighborhood is quiet, safe and serene with well tended properties surrounding this one. Our stay was so good, the children didn't want to go back home and were asking to extend our stay. We had a lovely time and will surely be back. Don't miss out on this one. It's a home away from home.

Property is very clean. It has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Unfortunately,I was there for a funeral for a family member. Kristine made sure I had everything I needed. She really went over and above. Ft. Liberty very close to property. Thank you Kristine for everything . I highly recommend this property.

Hans down, Kristy's place is the place to stay in Fayetteville!! From booking to check-out, this was without a doubt the best VRBO experience ever! She immediately reached out with genuine, kind communication. She seriously sets the bar astronomically high for all other VRBO hosts. Truly a home away from home. Fom the moment you walk in, you are comfortable. It is cozy and spacious..has absolutely every single thing you could possibly need for your stay..Kristy has literally thought of everything. I don't have littles anymore, but trust me, this is your place if you do!! Ridiculously comfy beds, couches and big chairs. Bathrooms have fluffy towels, shampoo, conditioner, etc Her kitchen is perfect! More than enough dishes, flatware, utensils, pots, pans, etc. Don't bring any spices.she has them all! Coffee, tea, creamer, sugar. Waffle maker! There is nothing she hasn't thought of. The video room..you will just have to see for yourself..we watched movies and hung out as a family..this was the highlight of our trip. :) There are just too many amazing things to list. Oh..and you are literally 5 mins from the Yadkin Gate. We were able to spend quality time with our Soldier/Son and didn't have to worry about making numerous trips to the store for necessities or anything else but our food. Kristy has poured love into this home, and it is tangible the moment you walk thru the door..if a home could give you a hug, it is this one! Kristy is the BEST ♥️ and we can't wait to come back!!!

I cannot say enough about this Vrbo and the owners who went way out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. They even brought fresh eggs from their chickens. Every time I sent a question before or during the stay, I received a response within minutes!!! When there was a problem with the refrigerator, repairmen were there that afternoon! I am so impressed.Our dog loved the fenced in backyard. The neighborhood felt safe and the house was clean, well equipped, and very comfortable.

This was one of the best places we’ve ever stayed at. Nice neighborhood and close to stores and restaurants. Layout of house was great and décor beautiful. Lots of thoughtful touches and well stocked. Nice back yard for the kiddos to run. Host was very responsive and kind. Would definitely stay again if I’m ever in the area.

This property was a perfect fit for our family. We were traveling to town from Texas to visit our son who is stationed at Fort Bragg for Christmas. The house was clean, fun, and in a great location. Kristine is the best owner by far that we've worked with. I highly recommend the property!

This home exceeded our expectations! It is immaculate, beautifully decorated, well appointed with everything you might need for a stay, quiet neighborhood in a very convenient location and a super host who is easy to communicate with and who thought of little touches to make our stay perfect. We couldn't be happier. This will definitely be our pick anytime we are back in the area to visit.
