Lady at the reception was super friendly.
Didn’t feel really safe in the neighborhood, no elevator but well that’s France.

My partner and I loved the location, it was our first time in Paris and we wanted to be out of the main tourist area and have a more authentic experience of Paris and we absolutely got it here. Great coffee moments away and plenty of food options - not to mention it is very close to the train.
The room was a little bit smaller than what the images showed however we are backpacking so it wasn’t an issue!

The room was prepared, tidy and all I needed. The comfy double room was great for me 3 night, and would be for 2 people who didn't have too much luggage. Pleasant entry. The lights and water pressure all worked well.
The communal stairs/hallway could do with a good vacuum. I think a kettle/coffee in the room would be nice. Unfortunately, like a lot of Parisian hotels the walls are thin so you can hear the room next door and loud closing doors, + there's a bar opposite the hotel. Bring earplugs (or Hotel Baba should perhaps provide these). I used the fan to try drown them out. One of the staff members was asleep on the reception desk which didn't look too good.

Room was contemporary and clean. Quiet with the window shut - slept well
The lights were on a timer for 5 minutes at a time and also only side lights when they were on. Overhead shower was broken the attachment worked but the fitting was broken so you had to hold it. Also the tv turned on but none of the channels actually worked.
