We loved the sauna, jacuzzi bath and cinema room but also the site was well maintained and in a scenic location and was well placed to visit the coast and the Eden Project
We had a few issues with setting up the tv in the cinema room but the staff on site were easily contactable for support to sort it out

All the amazing facilities in the lodge (although to be fair we didn't use all of them as it was too hot in the cinema room and it was like a sauna outside so we didn't need an indoor one this time! :D). Spa bath was great. Very nice decor and furnishings - the lounge was very comfy. Lovely and quiet location and site. Lovely shade under the trees. Close to a nearby shop. Great location for the A38 with roads to Plymouth, Dartmoor, Beaches etc.
No fan for the heatwave! The most annoying thing was that the toilet/shower light and fan came on every time someone went near the room, even just walking to the bedroom - and coming on at night if someone just wanted the loo! No instructions for the microwave. Would be helpful to have a small file with straightforward instructions for a few things instead of having to wade through all the appliance paperwork (couldn't find any for the microwave). The hand held remote in the lounge probably needs a new battery, it's very slow. FYI for other guests - only one dishwasher tablet and no washing machine tablets, and no basics like foil, cling film, S&P. Would be good to have proper dessert spoons instead of tablespoon size spoons! Otherwise well equipped kitchen.
