Private Bedroom with Keypad

Good location, great price.

I think it’s important to note that I wasn’t aware that only the bedroom is private with a keypad while the rest is open and accessible to other guests. The bathroom, of course, has a lock on it. There were no face cloths and the towels could be replaced as they had an unpleasant odor when wet.

Excellent place, I recommend it and I would stay there again.

My stay was very comfortable, and the hygiene and comfort conditions were excellent.

There was no problem or anything that upset me.

Great value for the money

It was very clean and well laid out.

It could use better lighting in the hallways. It's very dark at night, and walking to the washroom is a challenge in the dark. A few nightlights would fix this easily. A better quality shampoo and body wash would also be a nice upgrade.

Happy with the value, communication was Excellent and will come back again and book larger room!!

Location great. Cleanliness

Need front door motion sensor lighting for safe entry for guest arriving after dark. Room was too warm - fan did help. Very little cool air from vent in Room #3. Hallways were very cool? Had to wear earplugs as neighbor snoring was ridiculously Loud. Need More sound proofing in walls.

I was completely unaware that we were placed in a cold basement, tiny kitchen, check-in was at 6pm.

Basic but nice

The owner is super nice, the place is very sparse. Lots of signs taped to the wall. Could make have made nicer sign's. Everything was very basic. Think a boys first bachelor's pad. 2 spoons, forks, knives, cups, bowls and plates. Everything thing you need but nothing more.

I would have a door at the bottom of the stairs or at the top to seperate the basement space from the upstairs. In the bedroom an extra warm blanket would be good. A separate fridge for the basement, even just a bar fridge would be enough. Also a small Bistro table by the kitchen would make it better to have somewhere to eat. I know the owner mentioned he was cleaned out by another guest. I suggest chaining up appliances and making sure there is a damage deposit for guests.

Very good for the price. I'll recommend.

The room was clean and comfortable! very good for the price. The staff were friendly.

The bathroom was shared and it was not super clean. The Area was a little bit creepy at late hours. Having lights ON outdoor or at the porch would have helped.

This is an unsafe situation (locking mechanism broken). Also not an apartment. Don't book this one.

I did not like this tiny bedroom that was advertised as an apartment. There was nothing good about it,

I didn't like the fact that I rented an apartment but got a tiny bedroom with no door knob and a locking mechanism that didn't work so my valuables were unsafe. I didn't like it when the owner yelled at me after I informed him he could be facing legal action. I didn't like the idea that the owner and his sister would be living in and walking through the "apartment" that I rented. This situation was (allegedly) fraud on the part of the owner and maybe Booking.com too (allegedly).

Very good

Full kitchen and fridge. Good water pressure in the shower. Large bed. Easy check in and out and great overall value if all you need really is a bed.

No desk anywhere to work on. I had to use the kitchen counter as the only chair (bar stool) near a workable surface was there.

Amazing value

Nice neighborhood, close to a 7 elven which is incredibly convenient, close to a bus that takes you central winnipeg. Incredibly friendly and accommodating host. I mixed up the checkout thinking it was 12 when it was 11(all my fault) and he waited patiently and called me at 1145 to remind me, very forgiving about it and kind.

It really gives for its value. You are getting so much more for the price you pay than other places for the same price. Seems unfair for him :(

kitchen area is good.

The bed faced a big mirror and very small bedroom. I think the basement is not a private area that belongs to tenant.

Kind of out of the way in regards to shopping. Nothing to do in the area. Far from hospital.
