The property is a 10 out of 10 for great value. The staff and the owner are very kind and patient. The owner speaks perfect English. The staff speaks “un poco” Ingles. The property isn’t glamorous or anything but it’s in a great location and a stupendous value. I would love to stay there again. Panama rules.
You can’t flush the toilet paper because the septic can’t handle it. Evidently that’s true for most of the country. A bidet would solve that problem. Anyway, it’s not the fault of the property, just a cultural quirk.
Nothing! Just be prepared, because the staff doesn’t speak much English but they’re willing to listen to broken Spanish and use Google Translate. It’s a great value.

The room was cozy, the common areas and the grounds very nice. Walking distance to town area. Staff congenial and helpful

Close to town. Nice kitchen.
The bed was rock hard with thin, hard pillows. The light in the bathroom was such low wattage that we were basically showering in the dark. There was no handle on the inside of the room door that opened inward (just the deadbolt), and the air pressure kept the door shut; the only way I could get out was to reach up for the top of the blind on the door window - good thing I’m tall. Not sure how a short person would get out.
